  1. Bear mount would look good on your wall... just saying Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  2. Really wish I had yesterday off... hopefully he pulls a repeat today. I'm ready for him now Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  3. Only time I ever blindly rattled in a buck it was Oct 5th. I just tickled them to sound like light sparring. Never had it work during pre rut or rut but that's just me Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  4. Almost flooded one of my cams last year on Christmas day. Can't believe it still works. I have since moved it up a little Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  5. Saw a decent 8 with his nose to the ground cross the road in front of me at 830am today in Glenmont. Starting to heat up! Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  6. My wife wants one for her next buck. Mostly to resemble her grandfather's buck that has been on the wall for longer than she's been alive. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  7. Looks good! Don't see too many with the wood plaque anymore Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  8. Yea I'm thinking your right Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  9. Well I'm pretty sure this is the buck and the last pic is coyotes eating him. I found him laying dead not even 15 yards from where he laid down in the pic. Right where those yotes are. I'm thinking either ehd or shot by another hunter and then the dogs found him Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  10. They're both broken off, not sure how. Got the skull plate covered in borax. He was stinkin'. He definitely wasn't there on the 2nd when I was down there last Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  11. This isn't good. Hopefully it was coyotes and not EHD. Pretty nice 8 pt...what a shame Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  12. Didn't want to mount that bow buck? Looked good in the pics Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  13. Am I the only one in a stand right now? Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  14. Only 3, got lucky! I actually won a cow tag but the outfitters I went with helped me swap for a bull tag with a maine resident. That was an extra $1500, worth it! Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  15. Best $5k I ever spent. And that was just the outfitters. Would go again in a heartbeat! Can't apply again for 2 more years I think. Maine is awesome! Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  16. Was finally able to check some cams last night. Stud buck for my area plus my first ever bear pic! It was back in June but at least I got a chance.. Now I'm really excited for this season! Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  17. Looks like a big body in the pic whatever it is Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  18. I need to inspect it more closely but it actually looked relatively unharmed Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  19. Besides 1 strap it actually looks pretty much unharmed Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  20. Wasn't like that during turkey season Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  21. I didn't plan on sitting in this stand but this sucks none the less Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  22. So sorry for your loss. I lost my father last October. Time in the woods really helped me deal with it and I know that's what he would have wanted me to do. I wish you the best Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  23. Whoops, posted in the wrong thread. Copy and paste Really thankful for the extra half hour of shooting light! So while I'm putting on my boots at the truck I see eyes glowing from my headlamp about 30 yards away. A spike, a doe and a fawn stop and stare at me for a minute and continue on their way sort of in the direction of my stand. I sneak over to my stand and about 5 minutes after the new shooting time I see movement straight ahead. I have to assume it's the same group of deer but now there are 2 adult does, 1 clearly bigger than the other. The spike hangs around for a couple minutes at like 10 yards from me. He starts to walk away very cautiously and the smaller doe just about catches up with him. Had to be super cautious standing up and drawing back with 4 deer within 20 yards but I pulled it off. The spike was hanging around and stomping for another half hour trying to figure out what happened. What more can you ask for on opening day! 99.6 lbs dressed Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  24. Dang nice buck right there! I live 20 minutes from there and I've never been. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
