Morning hunt in 3N. I set up in the rain so I'm hoping that covered up the sounds of my climber. I don't have much time today, so set up closer then my usual spot.

About 45 here. And Windy. I'm bundled nice, hope to see movement

Came home, took a nap and grabbed a bite. Didn't see a single deer all day. As I'm eating my chow a large doe walks by my window. Go figure.

Ok. I'm done for the day. Didn't see any deer, but really enjoyed the day. If we were guaranteed deer every time, it wouldn't be "hunting". It would be "getting"...

Starting to drizzle here. Only seen squirrels and a rabbit so far.

Been in my stand since 0530. Couldn't post till now, it was too dark and I didn't want my cellphone to beacon out my position. It's starting to get light out now. So awesome to just be out!

Been in the stand since 1300 hours. Had a very light drizzle here in 3N which is perfect. Keeps scent down and hikers away. Lots of squirrels, no deer yet. Just enjoying being out here.

Amatos charges $90 to process each deer this year. More if you're asking for sausage. They packaged my venison very quickly and professionally, will continue to go to these guys.
