I prefer the butt cold, but you're right it makes it alot easier to sit all day. Taking a few off next week.

Yeah man, I'm going through this, but on your neighbors end. It's hard to get a logger in, they just don't follow a set schedule. I'm supposed to have 3500 trees taken off my side hill property, and it was supposed to be done in August. They logger just dropped his equipment off a couple weeks, hasn't really done anything yet. Just completely out of my control. On the plus side : Dropped trees pull deer in when the loggers aren't there, so maybe on the weekend/morning before they get there, hunt close and you'll catch em coming/going?

Ugh, dealer is starting to play games now. Thursday they assured me they were ordering a new tranny from GM. Yesterday they called me with a "Well we might just rebuild it, they are tearing it down and since we have world class mechanics here GM might not authorize a complete replacement".

Puffy pants and coat are holding up well, been inside for maybe 30 minutes today. So much less hassle than packing bibs and sweating wearing a heavy coat to the stand. If it gets any colder though I'll need an outer layer on top of the down. Pants got real wet this morning and didn't lose their insulation. Only negative is the material is light. One of my broadheads poked a hole I'm going to have to patch.

I'm going to do a observation sit by turnips in an hour. Full snow camo ( thanks @moog5050) and see if anyone comes out. Woods are drippy and noisy, I'd think they'd come out for some chow.

That looks alot like the lining around the stomach/intestines. I'd say mark the spot and back out. Call deer search and get them to come in the morning, gut shot might be dead by then
