    Aunt said 2 inches of snow up there last night, get some! Wind hasn't picked up yet, at least down here in the valley. We'll see what it's like at 2000 feet in about 30 minutes!

    Buddy gave me the advice:. Hunt the doe beds in the morning, doe feeding areas in the afternoon. Guess I'll be in the stand I watched 6 doe bed down in last weekend first thing tomorrow.

    Buddy of mine has a nice patch right in the middle of it, in that little ravine between Delaware Ave and Elm. Bucks don't get big bodies, but they do get nice racks! Look like ponies.

    If I'm not blown away by the almost 400$ KUIU down pants, I'll take the 7.50 shipping and send them back. I just wanted something ultra warm that wasn't a massive pain to pack in like my old Remington bibs are. These bibs might be contenders.....

    I just tried on the smartwool 250 bae layers at EMS, they're nice. 100$ a piece seems a bit jacked up though. Not that EMS is known for that or anything.

    Why isn't there a warmth category for each? My light base layer wick great, doesn't mean Im wearing them this weekend. Probably wear a light layer under my heavy layer though just to help wick.

    Well I got permission from the boss(wife) to go all out this weekend, Friday Saturday and Monday. Be the most I've been out in that time frame probably since by first daughter was born. Friday is going to be a day. Should be an inch or so of snow on the ground up there.
