I have read if cavity nice and clean do not rinse as any water can actually promote more bacteria. I rinse any that may have got debris in or nicked something I should not have. And then patted down with paper towels. No issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

11/4 pm 66 Not sure why I went out in 66 but the deer were moving today. I just got out for last hour. I did have a button come in right under me. He was a big button I want to run into him in 3-4-5 years!! I got stuck in stand 15 minutes past total dark waiting for him to leave!

Probably be fine but I would not try it again. Pond water has lots of crap in it. Fortunately you should not be mixing the body cavity with any meat besides the inner loins. I might trim off a touch of the hinds where they meet but that's it.

shoot him and see! He may be 2.5 but might be 1.5 he does not look big to me he looks short in length which makes him look stocky.

I have had a Foodsaver Vac330 for longer than I can remember. 12-15 years still working like the day I got it! I buy rolls of the bags online for cheap and they work fine. I have been waiting for it to die so I can get one with all the gadgets too but oh well!!

11/4 am 52 It was a bit warm and very quiet this morning. One of the few times the leaves have been crunchy, nothing sneaking today! About 10 of 7 I had one cross about 90 yards out in the edge of the pines, still dim and could not tell what it was. 20 minutes later I had a doe come in from the right side and cut out front about 60 yards out, no shot op. She was all alone. Then around 8 am I had a little buck come in right to me slowly eating here and there. It was a spike trying to be a 4 point put the two point off one spike where not an inch. He chewed the branch in my scrape and hung around for 10 minutes then eased out back to the creek bottom. Movement is picking up in daylight. I want to get back out but 63 degrees right now!!

my sightings have gone up considerable just the last week next 7 days ....... too bad the moon is gonna be big and bright.

Lol yup! I was standing in the crotch of a tree one morn and had nice doe come by! Shot and almost blew myself right outa the tree lol. Got her though it may have started my grey hairs! I kinda like safe now, see ma I do have a learning curve! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
