  1. Would be nice to put one in a stand and actually catch some of these stand thieves. A bit to big to easily hide in a camera though. I bet someone will figure a way though. Also wonder what the range is. Chances are a stand or camera will end up in the thieves woods and would a phone with the ap ever come close enough to it?
  2. They are based out of Kentucky. From what I understand nobody want to do out of state business in guns or ammo to NY or CA. How would that work?
  3. Let us know if any actual NY stores honor this sale. I have not found one yet. I did see the Gander ad yesterday but have not contacted them yet. Saw the sale at a gun shop in Georgia Friday. The Sig 22 is not actually made by them I believe. Heck of a deal though.
  4. The first a antlered doe I shot a year ago; The second is the heaviest and oldest buck to date. Shot with a bow in 93. Was 5.5 and dressed out at 186 pounds. When butchering it was found one of his back rear legs had a lot of scar tissue and looked like he was a victim of a car hit earlier in life. the dagger is 16 inches long for reference.
  5. I can not attend the SU game is at 4pm!! I will be at the dome!! May hit the show there tomorrow though.
  6. I am already dumb and happy and to start working on the fat part I will have to give this a try!! Sounds good.

  8. While I find these deer very beautiful they are only that way due to excessive inbreeding allowing a recessive gene to show up more than would occur in nature. I actually went on a tour there in 2012 and we saw one white deer and about 100 regular ones. The history of the depot was very interesting. I would prefer to see the fence come down myself, they are not meant to be fenced. I would also like for the county to designate a section to stay forever wild.
  9. He still looks to be in good shape. I will put cam back in this weekend while looking for his sheds. The area is about 150 acre piece of woods. No pressure at all now except me and my son squirrel hunting but we do that up top. No dogs ever seen here but plenty of yotes. I do not think they will bug him if it is not bleeding or infected. Unless we get a lot of snow. We have nothing on the ground now and none in the forecast for a bit so he can feed fine.
  10. I pulled the cam but might throw it back out to keep an eye out for him. Maybe go get eaten up by thorns and look for his antlers this weekend if the snow stays gone.
  11. Me too, I apologize for being an IT dummy!! Maybe this will help some others too!
  12. WNY you may be right I looked through the other pics again and this view actually shows how much is missing.
  13. Dude really that was it? I actually hit ctrl F5 shift F5 did nothing.
  14. Had to do this through my phone so I could post pics! Pulled my cam out of the deep hole stand this past weekend. Had this guy come by 3 days in a row. He has a pretty bad injury to his leg. I am leaning toward a car accident due to I thing a gunshot would of removed some muscle and left a hole or tear. Thoughts? He also dropped his antlers overnight. Wonder how far away they are? I am not a good antler searcher! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hey they asked so just working with the information given. So many factors. One I think most people do not consider enough is where it was shot and the weight of the deer. Combine that info with the body specifics and rack in a pic and you have a lot better info to go on.
  16. Firefox yik, also work computer so I can not do that.
  17. I still can not post pictures which stinks I would like to share!! I used to be able to no problems. If you hit the light switch you lose pic option and with it on it will not work either, bummer.
  18. #9 again hard with this pick but I say 104 net and 3.5 yr old age on this one is tough he may be older than I think but mass is weak.
  19. I missed this thread!! #7 I get 116 inches net, hard to age without body pic but 3.5. #8 161 4/8 gross, 141 net not an easy pic so this leaves more room for error. Again not best pic I would guess 5.5.

    Gun Rack

Looks great! Only thing I would add is to make it hold more guns. Maybe 4 or 5 instead of two. Then you can go gun shopping!!
  21. I wait till stands are on sale at dicks for 49 bucks for the 15 footers. Then buy 4 and use the forth to turn the other 3 into 20 footers. Has worked well for me and if you use a 10$ off coupon for each and buy separately you can do it relatively cheap. They also sell extensions but my way cost 1/4 of that. I just went out yesterday and loosened up the strap on mine.
