  7. 10/24 pm 58 Headed over to the state land where I got the buck earlier this week. On the shot the arrow hit the elbow bone going out and stopped the pass through so when he took off the arrow split in three pieces. I had the lighted nock end, found the middle in the deer and did not find the broad head end. I ended up finding that no problem It is already cleaned test shot and sharpened and back in the quiver to shoot the next one. I then wandered on the other side of the street and found a spot to watch on the ground for the last hour but no luck. On the way home a guy in a truck had just wacked a young buck just around the corner from the house headed towards my place. He did not survive the encounter.

  12. Just saw this. Apologize if it was already posted. I was always taught to approach a downed deer from the rear and back side. Carefully watch for a few to see if movement in chest for breaths.... then reach out with muzzle or arrow and touch the eye for any response. https://www.wthr.com/article/arkansas-hunter-dies-after-deer-he-shot-attacks-him

  17. A pure 8x8 that is impressive! Congrats to him!
  18. I use Ignitor lighted nocks. Love them and can’t believe how much easier it is to see your shot and find your arrow! The saddle is interesting but seems like a pita. Watched the video of the makers using it and said 15-20 minutes to get set up. I’m set up in my climber in under 10. Seems like the ropes would get in the way. And wow are they pricey! 21. Do us a favor and tell your brother his friend is an asshat and his kid needs a bar of soap in his mouth. I get someone may want to voice their opinion but if my kid talked to an adult like that......nice parenting. Hope your brother does not let them around his kids if he has any.
