Potted Norway and White Spruce
Fletch replied to LetEmGrow's topic in Non Hunting Items For Sale and Trade
My deer would eat those after the first snow. Better browse near and the bastids would still eat them all. -
Now that is a good start!! Well done.

When I went to college at Potsdam in the 80's there were like 75 bars between Canton and Potsdam and 4 universities worth of drunken college kids, cow tipping and Sergies Stromboli.

37 degrees Sat morning looks nice! 84 Tuesday afternoon is not my ides of bow hunting weather. I'll see what it looks like in the am and go from there.

Robin, Good to hear from you, not so good about the health issues I wish you the best. I always enjoyed your adventures and have always wanted to do some canoe back country hunting trips like yours. I survived a bout with non Hodgkin lymphoma in my 30's so I understand live life as you never know how much you got. Pop in from time to time and say hi, its good to hear from you.

lol just teasing. I use ignitors, love em. I have shot multiple deer with the same arrow and broadhead, after a thorough inspection and test shoot and sharpening.

I will be in a ladder first few sits. Also have tower and climber. It is wise to stay off the ground. Your pass through could get you lost arrows on the ground, from tree it sticks nicely in the ground nice and close. Biz and Moog not wise enough yet to know this. Youngins'' lol

Meat early. I'm not worried about any bucks following yet so its the perfect time.

I wonder about eating them lol. You don't know what or where they have been eating. My sons' friend dropped off 6 fresh frozen goose breasts just a couple days ago so I will be trying them out. I've never had any before. Hope the golf course pesticides don't kill me!!

Yea we don't use much butter either. I hate going to a "fine" steak house and they finish it with butter! Gross, I want to taste the fricking $60 steak I bought not slimy butter. Butter belongs on popcorn and English muffins.

You going the 7pm to 6am route??

Looks nice and wet the first 3-4 days. So I predict I will be wet. Will look to get out for some before/ after work depending on weather the first week.

I would love to see my daughter take one it will be her first year. Then the son to get a NY deer. Maybe even the daughter boyfriend too, but then again he is a Cowboy fan so I'll probably put him in a spot that a deer hasn't been spotted in 50 years... For me I'd like to get one in bow nice doe or buck. Then depending on what we have in the freezer I'll just hunt for the biggin. Would like 4 in the freezer between us.

I have had good success with some. Others eh. I actually put in the licking branches as well. I have two to replace this week.

My brother and I took a couple pokes around it a couple years ago. It takes some legs on the ground. We found a lot of water to be hiked around. There was good sign and my brother actually walked into a big buck, no shot with the bow. There is a member or two on here who has hunted it. Maybe they will pipe in. It covers a lot of area and scouting would be paramount.

I've been shooting Rage chisel tips for years. No issues. -
Predicting 51 here and possible showers and gusty later on. Being it is the weather prediction it will most likely not be what is going on.

True, most are not high paying but the boost to the economy would be great. Unfortunately all the locals will fight it, more traffic, noise,,,,,,bitch if you do and if ya don't lol
