Wow touchy are you? Not what I meant at all. Teachers are not the problem, at least most of them. It is the administration policies and such that they cant reprimand students, completely disruptive students are allowed to stay in classes ruining others schooling and so on.....Teachers are handcuffed and yes way too many so called parents send their classless kids to school and expect the school to teach them respect and proper behavior. On the other hand coaches at least for now can bench players or cut players. Teachers can't. By the way I have multiple teachers in the family. Apologies you took offense.

Sorry I have not used either. I just go to a area that does not allow hunting, and that I have permission to, find hot scrapes and take a ziplock of dirt and a branch. Then go to my spot I want to start a mock and viola!

I think you misunderstood my poorly written post lol. I meant the obsessiveness of sports and playing 5 leagues and the parents more involved than the kids.......not obsessiveness with concussions...concussions is serious shit. More my bad writing than you misunderstanding me thinks!!

Wait, so pussies and beavers? PYGMY!!!!!!!
-
Ha I have a funny story about that......About 35-40 years ago I was maybe 14. My Grandpops and an old buddy, the German, came up with a great plan to remove the flucking beaver that was flooding the crick behind the Germans' home. Of course this plan was made at the bar late into the evening and them being into the drink I was commissioned to be the DD and explosives handler. To this day I thought Grams was gonna kill him when she heard about it. I have all my fingers, and we never did find most of that beaver. lol Good times!!

Hell under that presentation you could make even old beaver taste good!! I had too

I think you made the right decision. There are safer sports and activities. As much as I agree with some of the posters that some sports and parents and the over obsessiveness of it is ridiculous now. I also think kids that grow up playing team sports, not trophy for all sports!, learn a lot of skills that are not taught in most other circumstances. Working as a team with a team, having others rely on you, realizing your hard work has results, ability to be coached and in some cases learning to lead others. Learning how to lose! Most coaches have hard set rules unlike today's' classrooms to teach kids responsibility. You miss or slack practice you ride the bench...You travel with a team and learn how to be responsible for yourself, your gear and so forth. I am a big proponent for group sports as we sit around and watch are youth sitting in a dark room playing video games I for one like to see mine out in the air exercising. I feel the same about hunting. I think it offers a lot to help develop more rounded kids...to adults. Studies support this. I'd love to see a study that says out of kids that did not play sports and kids that did that the did not are more fit the rest of their life. . lol

Probably safer than most of the food you eat at fast food restaurants lol. I've had wild pig and cooked the heck outa it so I get where your coming from though.

I constantly carry out more than I brought in. I really hate a lot of people. Thieves and litterers are way up the list. They should make the fines for littering a lot higher and offer bounty to be paid to a trained force to combat this. It could pay for itself and offer jobs.

From what I understand bears meat can vary widely. The taste is consistent with what they eat. I had a friend take one down in GA a few years back, it was young and eating corn and crops. He said it was super. Rinella has said some of the best meat and fat he has taken was from a bear living off of pretty much blueberries. So much that the fat tasted like blueberries. I have also heard some have real bad tasting ones, ones from eating rotting fish or garbage....

I've got a few straps left. I can see the back of the freezer though. We had 4 deer in it I'd say I'm down to a half of one or less. I figure even best case scenario fresh venison ain't hitting for 5 weeks or so.

A case of beer would be the last thing this Richard would get. I would have a good chat with the local DEC officer. I would let the DEC officer have hunting rights!! And the locals get a fast lesson on law. Get proficient and hiding some cameras up out of reach and sight as well.
