I already answered this and i wouldn't wear a seatbelt if it wasn't the law. I didn't when it wasn't. At what point do you consider laws that benefit all according to you not ok? A law mandating every person eats 3 servings of Fruit and Veggies everyday would be good for everyone..... How about a law that nobody can use tobacco products.... How about a law nobody can drink alcohol..... A law that you have to wear a helmet so if you fall you don't bump your head..... A law that you have to wrap yourself in bubble wrap when you leave your house so you are less likely to get scratched walking by a tree branch..... At what point is it ridiculous to you?

I can't agree with this enough. I feel like i could fix this all in 10 minutes and I am the literal definition of a nobody..... Flat tax rate for every person that earns an income no matter how high or low with no loopholes or write offs. Deport every illegal and create strong borders so they can't return. Implement E verify for employment. Create strong voter ID Laws Allow any manufacturing company that will produce a USA made product to pay ZERO state or federal taxes Become the leading exporter of oil and gas and set the world market. Immediately make it so any voted in person in the public sector have term limits and can not earn income while serving. They are there to serve us, not themselves. Just these few things would make an instant and enormous difference.....

First of all, in the middle ages they had kings, the kings men and surfs.....So no, income distribution is better now.... 2nd of all, Federal Tax rate is 39.6% and in NY 8.82% for the highest earners for a total of $48.42%. You want to take more than 50% of persons income? That too me is insane.....This doesn't include property taxes, sales taxes, payroll taxes or any of the other taxes these high earners pay. So you want to take millions and millions of dollars more away from these people? Buckmaster wasn't wrong calling you a communist.......

Yup and if i got to choose I wouldn't wear it. I didn't have to when i started driving. Took me about 12 seatbelt tickets before i sucked it up and started begrudgingly wearing it and in those 25 or 30 years i have been wearing it for no reason other than the fact that i am told too....

Its amazing how these people become wealthy beyond belief by serving the public and nobody questions how it happens....Biden has had a public sector job for 43 years making a decent living but a billionaire living??? I don't think so...

@bowmanmike explained all you need to know about him when he said "it restricts personal freedom but benefits all" I love a good debate but you can't debate someone with that line of thinking. Nothing benefits all. Someone somewhere is getting screwed. You just might agree that those people should be getting screwed. This is America. We are supposed to be The Land of the Free...I am not ok with restricting personal freedom regardless of benefit and every American should feel that way. Otherwise we are not he land of the free. We are everyone else...

Its already biting every school age girl having to share bathrooms and locker rooms with boys that say they identify as girls. If its happing in my daughters small school in Ballston Spa it is happening everywhere.....And if you dare say anyting about it, you are in the wrong....

I agree, and i have actually had two different Gay people work for me.....One of them took me a while to even know he was gay. I don't care. What do care about is when did it become ok to make 300 kids uncomfortable for the sake of one....Our whole culture is becoming like that....

I don't know. I understand that people that are gay don't choose to be gay. But what is all this other stuff? Wasn't Male, Female gay and lesbian plenty? I also have a problem with a guy in my daughters school named Phillip, has to be identified as and called Rose. He also gets to use the girls locker room and girls bathrooms. It makes every girl in the school uncomfortable for one kid that is a guy but wants to be a girl. I'm not sure who that is ok too.....Now if this kid is mentally sound etc. Then i feel for him and his family. But boys go in the boys room and girls go in the girls room.....this is pretty simple to me....

I know you weren't asking me, but Twitter isn't a private company. Its is publicly owned and we can buy into. To me that is totally different than a private business. Same with Facebook and Google......Public and private companies are two different things....

I think people should be drug tested for any government assistance now and not just once. You have to for a job so why not for free income?

I don't think there is anything wrong with being optimistic. I have always been an optimistic person but I feel like i have lost some of that with all the BS the last year. The double standard is ridiculous. Look at the capitol riots this past summer where they tried to burn the church down. Spun as peaceful protests. What happened in Portland etc. Now we have a wall and national guard troops when it was Trump supporters. Not that i condone what they did either but they act like we are terrorists. All of us....The cancel culture etc. Look at all the stores that dropped my pillow. For what? Questioning an election where the worst candidate ever got way more votes than anyone in history? I question it as well. I actually more than question it, i don't believe it for a second. So now i don't believe in our democracy or the president we have was actually elected and his policies will affect my everyday life. How am i supposed to remain optimistic?

I think you may be right. I know some people that like @Splitearown firearms but voted for Biden. And just BTW @splitear is a really good guy that no matter who he voted for wants nothing but the best for everyone on this forum. His best and my best are two different things. There are others on this forum as well. I don't want to put words in their mouth but i think they look at gun control differently. They look at "common sense" gun laws as ok. The problem is what is common sense to me and what is common sense to them are two different things. They talk about the need for a national background check and everyone says that's ok. Even i don't think anyone should be able to just buy a firearm on a whim without some sort of background check. But this is already in place. You can't buy a firearm without a background check. (and i believe this is against the 2nd amendment) What they want and don't say is a national database. That isn't ok with me. Maybe it is too others. Get rid of high capacity mags and scary looking black rifles? That makes sense to some that might only own a shotgun and their grandfathers old rifle but it doesn't too me....I believe the 2nd amendment is VERY clear and any gun control law is against the 2nd amendment. (not that i don't think there should be some laws) The 2nd amendment was created to allow the citizens to fight against tyranny. IMO that should allow me the same weapons i would be fighting that tyranny with..... One of my best friends started working on getting her pistol permit last April. Shelled out the money to purchase a beautiful Sig 9mm. She still doesn't have her permit yet. I believe she is done dancing through all the hoops and now is just waiting. Is this going to be the new process for buying a rifle? It's what the process is now for a hand gun....Is that acceptable to something that is supposed to be a right? It isn't to me, there are some that would say its just right, not enough....etc. To me it's ridiculous....
