  1. I just hope nobody stating anything mechanical can fail in relation to broad heads, doesn't use a release aid, fall away rest or hell even a compound bow. This isn't 1985 anymore mechs have come along way and so have fixed, any quality head will do the job well, if we all spent less time picking sides and arguing and more time practicing this discussion would be moot. But I suppose debate adds spice so I'll throw my two cents in...have tried both, have had success with both. My advice, don't cheat yourself by being narrow minded, try new things and focus on making good ethical shots.
  2. I just got a Trophy Ridge Torsion quiver, very unique set up and it allows for customization. You can set it tight to the riser or away. You can also adjust it up or down depending on your arrow length and ATA. The detach on it is very secure and quiet as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hey, just wanted to introduce myself. I 'm Aaron, and I am from Brockport. I'm fairly new to hunting, just the last two seasons (bow only). I've been fortunate to have some freezer filling success (1 the first year, 3 this last season). I had been shooting a 60 lb Bear Encounter, just upgraded to a 70lb Bear Empire. I've taken deer with slick Tricks, dead ringers and rage hypodermics, opinions on them all if you're curious about any of them, ask. Here 'a a pic of the new rig... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
