I got in early, 5:20 they were singing my song, 1 to the East and 2 to the west , just about 100 yards over the Water… 5:50 they were on the ground just a hammering … The Two to the west were answering everything I threw at them… but were heading away from me… lol as usual . So I shut my calling down for about 20 min .. Hit the call again.. and Bam… He was in my lap… here he came looking for his long lost mistress… 10" beard 1 1/8 spur

10/25 .... 75 degrees.... Not much of a story, I was tight on their bedding area. 6pm he was coming right @ me up close and personable... 12 yard heart shot, he went 75 yards on a DEAD run.... Trail Cam of him in August....

Saturday was a washout, but Sunday, a different story... We had 6 different birds going in multiple directions. 615 most were on the ground gobbling there heads off. Two had cut the distance fast from the north west. After about ten minutes those two hung up @ 80yards, the boy was already set up for those one’s. Suddenly from the east one lights off, what seem to be 20yards, scared the chit out of us … anyway a great looking long beard @ 60yards coming right @ us …wth to do…..needless to say he spotted us trying to move around the tree to get a shot :'( : ….you all know what happed next…putt putt putt…game over…not another peep for 2hours… We moved around 500 yards and it wasn’t long b4 we had this love sick Jake gobbling his pecker off, right to zacks gun barrel...

We got one up earley, it was a short but sweet run...

My nephew Zack took this nice 6pt this morning. It was his first deer... Congrats Bud!!! Great Job!!!!! ;D

I have been hunting hard the last few weeks.... This respectable 10pt gave me a great oppportunity to let the air out of him...couldnt hold off anymore... :

No shooters for me.... : Lots of action yesterday morning two smaller bucks were chasing, and a repectable 2 1/2 stood just out of range to watch.... Two of my friends managed to let the air out off 2 good bucks....
