  1. Seems to me like we need a good ole fashioned "Gangs of NY" style meetup. Bring your own weapons, (no crossbows, that's cheating)... Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  2. Oh boy... He never said the meat was going to waste. Isn't this the same thing as shaming someone for shooting a deer that isn't up to your standards? You've never killed anything you have no intention of eating? Coyote? Skunk? Opossum? Crow? Diver ducks? Jesus, you people must've had bad Christmases or something. Who cares when someone else guts their deer?? You aren't eating it, and it's no different than letting one lay overnight. I wouldn't have made the same choice not to gut the deer then, but I'm not eating it and I'm sure it's fine. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  3. Making me jealous! I can't wait to pull the boat out this spring and hit the finger lakes for Lakers and salmon. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  4. You're a loser, always will be. Once you kill a better buck than this one with a BOW then you can post it 67 times trying to force an argument and I'll oblige. Until then, keep hiding behind that bible and BS... Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  5. Final answer: Chef's a troll, probably larger than Wolc at this point.... Happy New Year. That is all. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  6. I do oil changes myself in everything, vehicles, quad, boat, motorcycle, lawnmower etc. I'm not cheap, but I'm not paying someone $100 to spend 15 minutes draining oil. The wheeler is a bit of a pain because I need to remove plastics for access, but still not bad. If I can do it myself I prefer to with any repair/maintenance. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  7. I have thousands of older assorted sports cards, I looked up a few dozen one day just to see.... I found most are worth a buck or two. I thought about dropping them off to someone to look at to see if any had real value, but then I figured if there was a good one in the mix, they'd probably steal it and I wouldn't have a clue anyhow. So, they still sit in boxes. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  8. My oven is gas also, I don't get any gas smell from mine. I much prefer mine in the smoker so I doubt I'll ever use a dehydrator again. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  9. Apparently I've never made jerky in the oven then... I'm telling you I've set the oven to 200° and it's done in 2 hours or less. I would never bother cooking jerky in the oven for 4-6 hours. Try it and tell me that it's not possible then... Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  10. Yea the charcoal and propane take a lot more babysitting and trial and error. I set mine to temp, set the digital timer and it shuts itself off when it's done if need be, real easy. Wow, I've used the same method in my oven and I don't ever recall it taking more than 3 hours at 180°ish. My dehydrator is old now but that's the part I hated about it was that it took 10-12 hrs to finish and you had to rotate trays every few hours and then keep checking it toward the end so I had to have a plan to get it done properly. I generally smoke mine in about 2.5-3 hours also, so it's a quick ordeal. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  11. Really? I think the oven is the fastest method? It's generally done in 2 hours for me. Depends on thickness obviously but it seemed fast compared to the others. You can pick up a 30" electric smoker for about $200 and it's really easy to use. Plus you'll find yourself using it for a lot of things, not just jerky. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  12. My wife bought me a slicer so I see some more jerky in my future. I typically smoke mine but will use the oven if in a hurry. Not a huge fan of the dehydrator anymore, just takes 3 times longer to get the same results I feel. The smoker is my preferred method now. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  13. Where did I give them credit? I stated that if you want to be informed you take the info you're given and do your own fact searching to corroborate. If you don't want to then I don't care. I guess I'm not an outdoorsman either, due to your fact checking. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  14. You make a lot of assumptions. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  15. So it can't be true at all because of who you heard it from? Seems like a shallow way to go about finding truth... Are they a bit crazy at times? Sure. Do they always get it "wrong?" Nope. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  16. I used to work with a guy that worked in a place that raised beagles and ferrets for testing purposes. He used to tell me the things that went on there and there's no way I could stomach it. Awful things are done everyday to animals to test out everyday items (hairspray, medicine, cleaning chemicals etc) that flys under the radar of the common citizen. I won't go into detail but I'm a bit more PETA after hearing what he had to say. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  17. Yep. We shot a bunch of 223 tracers s few years ago at night and those rounds were bouncing in all sorts of weird directions after minimal contact with a target. It is pretty unnerving actually, but a great learning tool. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  18. I'm sure they'll match it's power somehow, but the sound will never be the same and that's part of the experience. Nothing beats a big V8 sound, mix it with the supercharger whine and it's unbeatable. Hell even my 6.4L in the 2500 sounds good. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  19. Yea I heard that, I think it's a mistake on their part, especially in their high performance vehicles. Sucks to see... Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  20. If anyone wants to see it first hand just grab some tracers and shoot right before dark. It's pretty crazy what some rounds do. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  21. Beautiful car. I told my wife that this spring I was buying either a hellcat or a boat, I ended up with the boat, especially after seeing the price of Hellcats jumped like $10k even on used. One day I will own one! Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  22. I've never been sold on leasing vehicles. There are valid points on both sides but... You never build equity so to speak. I just traded my paid off Tundra for $32k in equity, can't do that with a lease. If you buy smart and trade at the right time you can keep upgrading and make out great each time. I like to know I'll own my vehicles at some point and if I choose to drive with no payment for a few years I can. Plus I like to modify all of my vehicles, my new truck wasn't even 24 hours old (to me) before I started installing upgrades. If I can't modify it then it never feels like mine. Once the TRD becomes available (I've heard in about 18 months) I may very well trade my current truck in on it as I should make out really well again. Currently I'm debating a 4-5" suspension lift, the level kit looks great but a 5" would look great-er! I've already done 35" tires, level kit, tonneau cover, LED lights, step bars, floor mats, muffler delete and window visors only 3 months into ownership. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  23. I think you misspelled "striper." Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  24. Happy birthday and happy holidays Wolc Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  25. I've seen 350 legend in Walmart more times than not and Bass Pro was stacked with it a few weeks ago and the price is pretty reasonable comparably. Looks like I need to buy another AR upper... Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
