4g for the weekend. had a pretty bad week with my pup passing away =( so hopefully a good weekend. happy reg. season friends stay safe, shoot straight and lets get some deer.

First pic is where it went in second pic is opp side. Arrow never made it straight through. But judging from the wound it looks like it open. However when I retrieved arrow. Head was totally closed and arrow intact. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice doe I got last night. Happy I filled the bow tag. I used a mechanical head and found the arrow completely intact and the head closed. No exit wound. Arrow stopped right before exiting. Thinking the head opened inside and when it came out it closed ?? Anyone experience this ? Happy it got the job done anyway. Doe ran about 20 yards and found arrow about 10-15 yards from shot. saw a nice buck this morning, watched him make a scrape about 60 yards out.dint respond to any calls and walked off. hopefully better luck this afternoon

im not sure whats going on over here in scoharie county...but i have not seen a thing...nothing moving, nothing chasing, found 1 scrape n thats about it...smh

pouring rain and windy here in 4g. I've decided to sit the morning out. right now cloudy with light rain and what happens...5 doe in the yard..grab bow walked outside and they ran in every which direction possible...thats my luck haha...hopefully a good afternoon to sit out...good luck everyone

was in the stand this afternoon. didn't see a thing but a squirrel.smh

had a small doe, prob this years fawn come right to my stand last night here in 4g. i drew the bow back but i passed...let her grow and i will wait for a bigger one...havent seen anything since. this morning was cold 29 degrees and snowing...was a beautiful morning...in now will be back out there later...hope everyone has a good and safe hunt today

hope the forecasted rain for friday passes and just snow this weekend up in stamford ny...that would be awesome

well, other then a couple sightings...no catch this weekend..anyone hunting in 4g? i think partially the problem was the weather...cold on saturday morning but almost 70 the rest of the time....better luck next week

had a great time this morning. saw a couple does on my way in, didnt spook. then watched 2 small does chase each other for about 5 minutes..sounded like a stampede around me, was pretty funny to watch...3 does came out about 110 yds out....came in for some coffee and a bathroom break....hopefully pics to follow this afternoon...happy sunday

afternoon hunt was unsuccessful here in 4g...literally saw nothing but chipmunks....hopefully better luck tomorrow...

im in for a couple...was in blind at 630..didnt see much of anything..lots of birds and hawks..heard some twigs and branches breaking but no sight of anything. although my girlfriend saw 2 deer by the house. figures...better luck for the afternoon i hope

ill be finally heading out there this weekend. fortunate enough, my area isn't included in the doe only rule till the 15th. fingers crossed my friends i will be updating with some nice pics to share. we shall see...happy to see everyone is having a good time and enjoying the season thus far...

I agree. Im from lower westchester myself but we make it up there almost every weekend..hope you have a productive season and keep us posted

Hey. that would have really warranted a convo with your neighbor, thats just bad ethics all around. have a lot of deer on camera actually. Personally, i spend some time in the woods looking for runs and funnels. have deer literally walk within 5 yards of me..alot of nice young bucks coming up. and a few huge 8 and 9 pointers i believe, hard to get an accurate count from nighttime pics, but their def. moving. have a couple yotes on camera too. warm weather doesn't help much but hopefully as fall sets in and the temps drop you'll see some more movement. do you have cameras out now ?
