  1. Yes, i have a 98 zr 500, i love being out on the trails. It is great riding out in the hills in wyoming county. Alleghany is also a popular spot to ride for me. Snowmobiling and hunting rank as my top hobbies. There is nothing like that two stroke power band pull on a hard pack trail!
  2. It was a great evening hunt. I seen 3 bucks and two does. The first sighting was a doe with a six point and a four point following. Both bucks were yr and halfs. About thirty mins getting close to dark a doe came in with a good 2 1/2 yr old (big six or , but the doe must have smelled me and the hunt was over then. The chase is ON! This week is gonna be good for day light activity I believe.
  3. I shot a 2 1/2 yr old buck this year. By the way it was my first Buck! I will not hesitate to kill a deer 2 1/2 yrs or younger because they all fill the freezer and my stomach MMMM
  4. I sure do have the fever! ???
  5. My first buck!! Heres the story. He came up swiftly from the brush just before 8:00 Am opening morning about twenty yards away. He stopped 5 yards under my stand and looked up at me. I did not even have time to draw back. He seen me and looked weary. He started to back up and slowly turned around. I was nervous that I was not going to get a shot, but in fortunate luck he decided to circle in front of me broad side. He was making his way through some brush, then I had a shooting lane and I let him have it! The shot was a ten yard shot and i made it count. He ran 50 yards through brush and i heard him go down. I waited about thirty mins and pursued the blood trail. Once i found him and knew he was dead it was one of the most pinnicle moments in my life! What a rush. I now have a deeper respect for life and hunting of whitetail deer.
