    You can buy a kit to "pin" the mag. Once it's pinned it is legal. That's of course after u register it...

    I try to give about 50 yards with most of my stands. My neighbor has a few right on the line but we've talked about it and we r good.

    I plan on having growing tube around all of them.

    I plan on opening up a section of hardwoods into a 1/2-3/4 acre food plot. I'm going to line it with sawtooth oaks, dunsten chestnuts, and probably some apples.

    In my back corner again, my happy place. Pics of deer moving at night and one buck with lods of potential in the next few years moving thru at 405 pm.

    If the shot knocked him down I'm guessing it had to have hit the far shoulder/leg. If that's the case I would say liver and atleast 1 lung. I'd say dead deer in the thicket.

    Well my father came over this afternoon to hunt with a old marlin 336 in .35 rem he just picked up at cabelas yesterday. I sent him to a ladder stand in the back of my property. He was out about 20 min and he txt me if I allow anyone else on the property. A guy dressed in camo with a orange hat just walked up to him not looking up until he was 5 yards away. Then he just turned and went back the way he came. I called my neighbor to see if he had anybody out on his property. Next thing I here shooting. 5 shots total. Left a message with the neighbor, threw on a orange vest and grabbed my riffle. My dad said it was the guy that shot. I pick up his tracks and follow them and catch up with the guy standing in a field. Come to find out he's my neighbors, neighbors son. In from Connecticut for opening weekend. I told he walked right past 2 posted signs on his way to my dad. He said he couldn't really make out what it said. Soooo u just keep going?! I then point out I had him on camera on my property yesterday. He denied that, so walked to where the camera is. O, sorry he says. We parted ways and I had my dad move to the front of my property away from all the moving around. I just got back to the house and I hear a shot. He called me and I head out with my quad. He got a 4 pt, thought it was bigger but I'm happy, it's the first deer he has gotten on my property. Kinda paying back for all the years I was able to hunt on his property. I ll post a pic when I get one.

    Got in my stand about a half hour ago after getting kids on the bus. Went from no movement yesterday to tracks everywhere today. Gonna get down around 1030 and take a slow walk through the woods.

    Thank you, only reason I'm selling it is I'd like a easier to carry pistol for whitetails. Like I said I've taken deer with it, farthest shot was 78 yards. I also finished a buck my brother in law hit, It was running and I dropped it with 1 shot from the contender. Very impressed with the round.

    Gave a doe the pass this evening. She won't be so lucky in another week or 2. Also ZEM is that a 788? It's what I'm hunting with. It was my dad's first rifle and mine. Very accurate ugly rifle.

    I'm in the cozy warm house now. Walked around a little on the way in and never came across any tracks. Maybe tonite.

    I think that was the worst weather I have hunted in, in recent memory, upper to mid 30's and non stop rain. With a stiff wind on top of that. Hopefully high winds and snow will make tomorrow a better day.

    Another shot from other neighbors property, just heard their quad come out. He had his nephew hunting with him. Hoping he got it. Too early to say I miss bow season already...
