With a lifetime license do I still need to apply and pay for a DMP?
Thanks

I know of a few friends that had a guy come in with a bulldozer. It was able to clear the land of everything including removing the stumps. Not too expensive either.

There is not a separate NYC law.
It is the same law as upstate.
It is how it is being interpreted, or should I say misinterpreted. Even the majority of politicians in NYC think they are overstepping their authority by supporting this in the Assembly. If the NYC interpretation is allowed to stand, when will other DA's and police departments in other parts of the state start using the same interpretation?
And just because they are a separate part of the state, they should not be allowed to enforce any law differently than any other part of the state. It is time to help those that live there, as what they test in NYC, eventually flows to upstate if left unchecked. If NYC want's to have their own interpretation of knives, then they should pass their own law, not change the intent of what is put in place to cover the entire state.
NYC is trying to change the law they are interpreting it in the manner the law is written and to what is conducive to policing in a large city. Right now gravity knives are illegal and the law is being enforced, if the bill passes and certain knives are then considered legal, citizens will be able to carry to their hearts delight.

I am not saying that I agree with the law, however if you are carrying a knife that is described as being illegal pursuant to the NYS Penal law and get arrested why would you be surprised. Additionally, even though NYC is part of New York state, it is a totally different animal in regards to policing and enforcement of laws as opposed to the rest of the state.

People are getting arrested for carrying the knives in NYC because they are ILLEGAL. It's like any other law, if you violate it you get arrested.

I fully charged the battery just before I took the video. I live quite a distance from my property so I do not use the machine often, I think it has about 50 miles on it.

Thank you everyone for the repies

I am unable to start my 2013 Polaris 500 H.O., I have attached a video of the noise it makes when I turn the key. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I have been doing traditional plots for years and have been reading about Roundup ready crops. I was interested to know if anyone had experience with them and what your thoughts were. Thanks.

Thanks for the help.

Can anyone recommend a FFL on Staten Island to do a rifle transfer?
Thanks.

Probable cause is what is needed for an arrest not a search. There are numerous exceptions to the Fourth Amendment that include emergency, escape and the possibility of evidence being destroyed. There is also what is considered the plain view exception. For example, if the police are walking past your home and they can see inside of it while you are committing any penal law crime they can enter without a warrant. The main thing to keep in mind when referring to the Fourth Amendment is that you must articulate an expectation of privacy, because without it the Fourth Amendment does not apply.

Show is very one sided. After you finish watching it do some of your own research.

Big Guy, you can question the government all you want and it will have zero effect, the solution is very simple. Instead of wasting your time bitching about the government, which is pretty much a constant of most of the posts on this site, save yourself the grief and just go to your local store and buy all the ammmo you want
Who is bitching about the government? I made a simply inquiry and somehow you attribute that as bitching?
-
Simple solution, get in car, drive to store and buy all the ammo you want, problem solved, now there's one less thing to hate the government about.
I sorry but I don't agree with you. To just accept it without questioning it is exactly what the government wants. I am all for following the law, however when the law is ridiculous and is in place to do nothing more that harass gun owners I can't simply just go along with it. I don't do sheeple.

So I can drive 25 minutes away and buy all the ammo my heart desires at Walmart, however I cannot have a box of 20 or 50 shipped to a federally licences FFL dealer. Makes sense....

It was my understanding that if you wanted to purchase ammunition and lived in NYS it would have to be shipped to a FFL. I spoke with Sportsman Guide and they told me that they cannot ship ammo in NYS even to a FFL. Anyone have a similar experience?

I also believe that the woods will be quite. Most of my hunting friends have packed it in for the season and I don't know of anyone else going out this weekend. I hope my persistence pays off. Good luck to all.

They are calling for a little snow on Friday. Hopefully it sends the deer into panic mode and they try to fatten up in my food plot where I will be waiting.

As we enter the final weekend of this years hunting season I was wondering what the thoughts of my fellow hunters is regarding the 2015 season, etc. Checking the weather map it appears that there will be a cold snap this weekend in CNY and I am hoping that will get some deer moving.

Great show! The best part is that they are not politically correct.

My dryer went a few years ago and I used http://www.appliancepartspros.com/. They have videos that help you troubleshoot the problem and instructional videos showing how to replace the part. It literary took me less then two hours to change the motor on my dryer with their video that shows step by step instructions. I am not sure what models they sell parts for. Hope this helps, good luck.
