  1. Contrary to what the NRA has many gun owners believing, it is better to keep guns away from people with mental illnesses, whether involuntary/ voluntary committed, then to allow them to get access to a gun and then kill someone with it. Not everyone should be allowed to possess a gun. It is far better to deny someone a gun then it is to bury someone who has been killed by one.
  2. How hot is the woman and what is she offering me, then I'll let you know if I'm willing to cross the street.
  3. How can someone say whether a person is for or against something based upon their name?
  4. As of now if you have been "involuntary committed" you are unable to purchase a gun
  5. I'd rather be a moron then an ******* like you
  6. The best thing about Liberalism is it drives fools like you insane.
  7. Not knowing the specifics of this case all I can say is that unfortunately as communities keep expanding, open areas and land available for hunting will continue to be lost. It appears that more and more time will be spent searching out fewer and further spots where hunting is allowed. On the plus side there's always archery where the availability of lands open to hunting isn't as restricted.
  8. I heard Cabelas pulled out from Harriman for a better offer from somewhere in central Jeresy, they were having problems over easements with the town of Harriman
  9. Close to 90% of the American public want stronger background checks, how can one logically argue against doing everything possible to keep guns from those who shouldn't have them?
  10. If your beloved GOP really seeks to remove government from intruding into Americans lives why do Republicans insist upon meddling in what goes on between a woman's legs?
  11. From your post sounds like the guy has permission to be there, doing what Papist suggests sounds like hunter harassment to me. If he indeed does have permission then you either have to live with him being there or move somewhere else. This is what happens when we are not fortunate to own our own hunting lands.
  12. I hunted there years ago, no permits needed for deer and rifles are allowed however I found it to be extremely crowded with most people hunting off the main path leading away from the parking lot that you access from Rt 209 (exiting from Rt 17). However that was the first few days of the season, returned on the second weekend of gun season and had the place to myself. My best thought for you would be to avoid the area by the parking lots, find yourself a map and look to go to the area by the winery (think its called Bashakill something vineyards, but not sure), haven't been back there since I hunted there. Good luck, I hear there's some nice deer in there.
  13. That's a shooter where I hunt in Orange county
  14. Mr VJP, you are overlooking ONE Important Consideration, this guy belongs to a recognized criminal organization and like others who are banned from owning guns he too should be forced to surrender his. According to your post he was offered the option of leaving the Pagans so that he could keep his guns, he made the decision to remain a member of an "outlaw" motorcycle gang so therefore he must face the consequences of his decision
  15. If guns can be taken from members of one "outlaw" gang, i.e. The Bloods why can't they then be taken from another "outlaw" gang, in this case The Pagans, what is the difference between an "outlaw" street gang and an "outlaw" motorcycle gang? None that any sane, rationale person can see.
  16. The only good snake is the one they made my cowboy boots out of
  17. I thought I read somewhere that DST came about when the country was more rural so that farmers had more hours of daylight to work their fields during the summer months
  18. Better call Donald Trump, maybe he'll build a wall on the northern border too and charge Canada for its cost
  19. Yes Mr VJP, Gander Mountain, one of the only sporting good's store in my part of Orange County, right next door to Dick's, is full of novices. Judging from most of your posts that I have read I would think you would be favor of treating mental illness because judging from what you say it seems like you yourself are in need of some sort of mental health care.
  20. Mental illness is a serious problem confronting America today, and from some of the posts I read here some here too, so adding a tax to firearms, which we all know are used in crimes committed by the mentally unstable, is a good idea and way to fund not just mental healthcare but also the injuries guns cause. Taxes are just an added cost of doing business and as everyone knows they are unavoidable. As for driving gun shops out of business your local store, in every instance, has been replaced by the big "Box Stores" who are not going to suffer from having to collect an additional sales tax.
  21. Not only do they have a right to sue but they will most likely win in court, you can press trespassing charges against them but cannot injure them in any way
  22. It is not so much about what they do, instead it is more about what they DON'T Do
  23. Finally, someone else sees the stupidity that the NRA promotes
  24. As you can probably tell from my profile pic I'm all for flying the Confederate Flag and if its offends anyone they should blame their parents for raising a cry-baby pu*sy
