    Saw a nice buck making a rub a little bit ago. Hope he's on the camera! Or even better yet, gets in my sights!

    Well, I sat in the climber this afternoon. Sat until almost sunset and my younger brother called me up and said he stuck a nice buck (first year out with bow) 30 yrds quartering in slightly and only about 6 inches of penetration! Going to let him lay over night, hopefully they find him in the a.m!

    Some loggers threw off my hunt last year, but the benefit of it is those tree tops! Learned they love em' haha good luck!

    Well I didn't kill a deer but I sure as heck seen one! 65 yrds out, minimum ten, nose up in the air and looked right me and walked. Hopefully he's not spooked, because 8 more days and he's in for it! Haven't had him on camera at all either which is weird but still awesome!

    After pulling a twelve hour night shift (6-6) I drove home, which is a 40 min. drive, got suited up and am out in the stand! New spot I haven't tried yet this season. Let's see what happens! Yes, I know I'm late in the stand, literally got in it 10 mins ago... haha I love being in the woods too much what can I say?

    In the old tree lounge tonight! Got a family picture of a nice doe and two fawns. And a decent buck. Coyotes better watch out too, got some trusty Muzzy's prepped and ready for em!

    That's awesome, it's great to parents taking there kids out to the outdoors, it's something he'll always remember. I'm 20 now and I remember my first time in the stand with my dad, he shot his first buck with a bow!
