  1. Thanks for sharing pics, and the stories that go with them. Safe travels back.
  2. Yes sir! And thank you, I appreciate it, and enjoy sharing, a lot of details have been kept out due to some bad apples here. Should be pretty obvious though.
  3. Until next year! Orrrr maybe this winter… thats a wrap folks

  6. Thank you sir, means a lot
  7. Been a good couple days up here. We got were having a great ride, and all of a sudden it got dark, and it started raining pretty good. We decided to back up under some small pines, and wait it out. It was a nice view, and kind of cozy actually. That evening we met up with @rob-c and Mrs. Rob-c. Great people! How funny is it to meet up with a forum member over 500 miles from home, when you live around 2.5-3hrs from one another?? Today my mom came up, and it’s her first time here. She always loved the pics, and especially the moose pics. Today, we had a nice dinner together, then I wanted to show her the amazing hill where sunsets are fascinating, then about 10 miles up the road, we had an amazing encounter with a moose in daylight for her! Couldn’t have asked for a better sunset, or moose encounter for her….as odd as it may sound, I think my grandma had something to do with this as she was watching down on us….
  8. No expert here, by any means, but in my experience….I have tried drag lines every now, and then. I shot a 6 pointer once who came right to a hanging wick I had. He was nose up sniffing it when I shot. One other time I had nice big tall tined 8 rip through the woods right to my after I ran a drag line passed his stand. Deer was nose to the ground in a quick run. It was coincidental that it was that day I ran the drag. I feel like if the drag line works, it seems like that deer has to be in a certain mood, wind correct, etc, but like I said no idea, thats just an experience I wont forget.
  9. You know I was being sarcastic about deer tracks I hope? lol they are wayyy too big for deer. They were a bit larger than what I typically see for moose tracks. These were on Caribou Lake off The Golden Road.
  10. Haha, those are deer tracks. i know the ground can erode tracks quickly, but these tracks are above average of what we see.
  11. @Jdubs Anyone hear from him? He crosses my mind whenever I am up here. Profile shows a long way back was last login. He always had great hiking photos from summits.
  12. Pizza at Dockside in Maine… Lobster soup…
