If you're coming out of the woods after legal shooting hours during deer season, with a loaded gun, you have a lot of explaining to do if a DEC officer spots you. Why would you want to put yourself in that position.

It must have been hit by a car. No hunteris going to drag a deer to the side of the road to cut the spikes off of it. Did you check for damage to the body before making assumtions.

Just picked up a Ruger M77 in 270 . Has Leupold 3 x 9 scope on it . Any pros or cons. Something I should be looking for. Thanks

I live on eastern Long Island and see 8 and 10 s all year long, but I take a weeks vacation and travel upstate to shoot spikes and four pointers. So I dont think it is all about the horns.

I sit on a spackel bucket with one of those rotating tops. I found that some buckets are a little taller some alittle lower. Find one that fits you. I can sit for hours, but I have abony little butt.

How come we can send a man to the moon, but we cant make agas can spout that will pour the gas where you want it. In the Tank not all over the machine .With these spouts that recycle the fumes it is a joke.

Just a heads up....Got my super sportsman license and discovered that the "bow/muzzle loader anterless deer tag" was not included. Called the DEC and they said there was a glitch in the system and that they would figure out how to send the missing tag to those that already purchased the super sportsman license. DEC said they hope to have the glitch corrected by Thursday so if you plan to purchase this license talk to the agent first to see if it's been remedied.
