Actually, if prepared correctly, gator tail is awesome. We have made "nuggets" for dipping (with sauce) or deep frying and a spread for crackers etc.

Generally I walk in ... and use the quads to extract downed deer. If I'm going way over towards the State woods, I may drive part way and park along a hedgerow. Then I hoof it the rest of the way.
