If you fall asleep in the sun with the tin foil hat on, does it meld to your skull? -
President's inherit the country as the previous president left it. There isn't a reset on Jan 20th. Obama took Bush's economy after the crash of 2008 and built it back up and handed Trump a solid economy who ran with it until Covid literally stopped the world. Biden took that mess on. It's not surprising that inflation is happening worldwide after shutting down for almost two years. Oh, and add in a war in Europe between the biggest oil and food producer in the area. Biden didn't cause inflation (neither did Trump), he just has to deal with it for this country. To answer your question, yes, I believe that Biden has the average guy's best interest in mind.

Not as a political stunt. These seem to be asylum seekers, which is legally allowed in this country. DeSantis, lied and said there were jobs and homes waiting for them, shipped them across the country and potentially compromised their hearings, not to mention cruelly screwing with these families. Naturally, as a contemptible asshole, he sent a video crew along. He also awarded a $615K contract to some cronies to facilitate the transport. Of course, that was Florida taxpayer money. North, you need to get your head out of these guy's asses and focus on people who have the nation's well being at heart. lest you end up one of these weird cultists. I don't want to see that happen and am here for you buddy.

Not a fan and don't really get the appeal. Seems to be a good business though. I just arrived at a friend's country manor in Sweden that chock full of art so I'll post a few things in the next couple of days. -

Locked in a case if left unattended. You can travel with a gun outside of a case if you are going directly to your destination. -
Mousing at night for big browns. https://www.thewadinglist.com/mousing-for-trout-at-night/ And one on the cost of fly fishing as measure in casts-per-fish while salmon fishing in Cape Breton. https://www.theflyfishjournal.com/issue_feature/nova-scotia/ (Unfortunately behind a paywall.)

Permits are free and easy to acquire, but not all DEP land requires them. In fact, other than the land around the reservoirs, I almost never see "permit required" land. Here are the various signs you will come across. Areas posted with “Recreation By Permit”signs require a DEP Access Permit. Areas posted with “Public Access Area” signs do not require a DEP Access Permit for recreational use. Properties that are marked with “No Trespassing” or “Posted” signs are not open for public use. “Deer Management” signs are posted in hunting areas where Quality Deer Management principles are enforced. “Caution Active Forest Management” signs appear in areas where forest management projects are underway. “Temporary Closure” signs are posted in areas where a recreation area is temporarily closed. -
Putting fireproof aside for a moment ... there's a legal argument to be made that a locked car is secure. Certainly a traditional trunk is. As much as a pain in the ass as this is, a plastic case with a shitty lock is doable. I stopped off to grab some shotshell yesterday and one gun shop was taking down personal info on every sale, while at another it was business as usual.

Give this a read.

It seems that sniffing glue doesn't cut it anymore, so the kids have moved onto to huffing nitrous oxide in whipped cream cans. You get high while enjoying a tasty treat.
