I thought I heard that yes NYS has given some out on a trial basis. A Business Insider article says NYS has 11 undergoing the treatment but it does not say what the treatment is. -

Erie County is having their press conference right now. It seems that after Cuomo said ventilators will be taken from upstate and shipped downstate. All Erie county hospitals have no extra ventilators they are ALL in use currently. Erie county does not track the hospitals use of ventilators so they are taking their word for it. To paraphrase a famous quote - I'll give you my ventilator when you pry it from my cold, dead hands. -

A snip it from a Buffalo News Article Below: The Pegulas said the money will go toward three main efforts, though they did not say precisely how the $1.2 million would be divided up: • A contribution to the new Western New York Covid-19 Community Response Fund. It was formed on Tuesday by foundations including Ralph C. Wilson Jr., John R. Oishei, Wendt, M&T and others. A project of the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County and 17 other local foundations, it already has raised more than $4 million. The boards of both team foundations approved the allocations Wednesday. • What is described as "a broad and ongoing commitment" to FeedMore WNY – formerly the Food Bank of WNY and Meals on Wheels for WNY – and the Rural Outreach Center in East Aurora. The organizations will use the aid to provide thousands of bags of groceries to underserved and out-of-work urban and rural families in this area. • Unspecified support for first responders, hospital workers and nurses as well as badly needed supplies of protective and medical equipment. -

The owners of the Bills donated $1.2 million locally to the WNY area. -

Key part of that sentence is you got a test. Here in Erie County we have been told for about a week now that unless we are a first responder don't expect to get tested. -

I hate to say it but it's a little bit of both. As Cuomo says NYS is testing more people per capita than any where else in the world. Yet here in WNY, Erie county specifically, our County Executive say's they don't have enough test kits nor can they get results back in a timely manor. He does not blame Cuomo or NYC but you can read between the lines. Now all of WNY's ventilators will get shipped to NYC where they are needed currently. What happens when in the next 2 weeks WNY needs those back but they are still in NYC being used? Do they pull them off the people using them and let them die? Do they tell the people in WNY tough shit we are using them? -

I have the patience, I drop it off and quickly forget about it. That is until all my "weird internet buddies" start posting pictures of their mounts.

I've never tried it but for me I don't think I would be Squeamish about it, I've done my fair share of gross stuff but to pay someone else $60 to have a Euro done is well worth it. I would take me hours upon hours to do it for the first time. If I had to pay more I might consider doing it myself.

Quite a while ago you said it was only a matter of time before interstate travel was banned. At the time I thought that it was a very slim chance of that ever happening but as time goes on I think it could happen. This could be your Biz like prediction moment!

I tried over the weekend and earlier in the week both for delivery and curbside pickup. One day I could not even get a delivery or pickup time. The next day I was able to get a curbside pickup time only to have it canceled by instacart a few hours later. I ended up going to my small grocery store myself. -

LOL ya bastard! It was only a 2 beetle worthy year because of the memories associated with them. If you add up the inches of both I don't think I hit 100!

I'm waiting on the pandemic to be over to pick up my 2 heads. No way was I doing it myself when I used the same guy as @The_Real_TCIII and @Gencountyzeek. $120 for 2 heads and all I had to do is drop them off.

Hard to say whats an overreaction right now but I wish they would take this on more of a month to month situation vs. just shutting things down long term just because it MIGHT last that long. They could always reverse the decision's being made but that too has some negative consequences. I'm all for shutting things down and keeping people safe. I don't want to lose anyone over this but making long term decisions like that are also putting people's financial future at risk and I am not just talking about campgrounds closing. It's a tough balancing act and I'm glad I don't have to make the call.
