Live from the house! My wife is working this morning so it’s just me and the kids for a while. We are working on taking down Thanksgiving decorations and getting Christmas decorations up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’s all been said already and I agree. I really don’t know Jay other than on here and a couple of interactions outside of the forum but man did it sure feel good when I read that they connected this morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Moog, I hate to say it but in my non professional opinion that guy looks sick and umm should be taken out from gene pool by an unqualified person such as I. I’ll await the coordinates in a PM. I normally charge a fee for this but being the holiday season and all I’ll do this one pro bono. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A cool gun with a cooler story on why it's mine.

Holy cow what a cool story. So glad you picked it up and took it in the field Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I bought a pair of $20 Smartwool socks this year to try because I have the same problem as the OP. So far 3 cold hunts in and i'm loving them. They are designed to wick moisture away from your foot and boy do they work. Before me feet after a long day looked like i was soaking them in a tub. Now with the Smartwool socks my feet are bone dry. I cant explain it but it works. I put Smartwool socks on first then a thicker pair of merino wool socks and for the cold mornings like this morning I added toe warmers on the top of my toes. I never felt cold at all. Oh and I have 1000 gram insulate boots as well.

I sat until 11. Around 10 I had a nice doe come within 15 yards but she just would not leave the thick stuff. Even without taking any deer I have been having a pretty good season. Probably the most deer I have ever seen between Bow and regular season. Eventually one of these deer are going to mess up and offer me a shot.

Yes! Congratulations to you both! seeing this made my morning. Cherish the memory Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve ruined good meat doing it but I guess I’d rather know the deer is down vs running injured. I’ve made what I though where good shot before only to find out I completely missed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If given the opportunity and I know the first shot was good I still shoot again. You never know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Happy thanksgiving everyone. Got up in stand before first light. Had a small rack buck pass by 5 min before legal light. Got to watch him try to work around the water for 15 min. Good morning so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So true. Been there before. I always pay attention to exactly where the run just for that reason. I’ve been hunting for 20ish years and still learn new things all the time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

AFC will be Brady again. No one else in the AFC can touch New England its the sad truth. I was hoping the Bills where just going to make the playoffs but now they found yet another new way to screw that up. One thing I must say about the Bills is they keep us fans on our toes as to how they are going to screw everything up for themselves.

I just want different teams in the Super Bowl tired of having the same group of teams rotate in and out. Atlanta last year was awesome because they were new. It happens in all 4 major sports. Just look at the NBA Cav's vs. Warriors the last 3 years. That's gotta suck for fans of the other teams.

Very cool! Congratulations! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We do one big one on the last sunday every year. It’s very organized between the walkers and the sitters. I like it as it’s an eventful way to end the season and hunt with your buddies. We have had very successful years and very unsuccessful years Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agreed. Shoot what makes you happy. We are all hunting because it’s something we enjoy doing. I’ll never tell someone they should have passed on a buck or doe. Seeming someone smile because they harvested a deer is all that matters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sat dark to dark thru rain, sleet, hail and snow never saw a single deer. Next opportunity is thanksgiving morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I need a fireball or something. This last hour is going to be a mental struggle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think you planned it that way Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I said it was a key element not the only element. I would share the other ones with you however I have no idea what they are! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I hear filling your boots is a key element in the successful harvest of a nice 8 pointer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Still nothing happening. Going to sit until 2 then do a slow loop and get back in the stand for the last 2 hours Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
