Your probably right. That is a large section of tenderloin. I didn’t buy the steaks so I truly don’t know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Missed field goal. Colts are going to lose this one more so because of what they have done versus what the Bills have done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Local place to me had some 9mm in stock a few weeks ago. If I remember right it was 30 cents a round for steel cased. Not horrible compared to prices I’ve been hearing but still more expensive than before the shortages started. I’m being optimistic so I didn’t pick any up at that price but probably should have. An elk hunt out west is something that I just started to think about doing. Between this forum and watching meateater it’s really peaked my interest. Unfortunately at almost 40 years old and having no preference points a DIY successful hunt seems far fetched from what I’m hearing and a full guided hunt where you don’t need preference points seems way out of a budget I never prepared for. To get yourself started download the cars.com app on your phone. From there you can search every type of vehicle you want either new or used and it has a calculator feature where you plug in the price of the vehicle, trade in, down payment, sales tax, APR and how many months you want to finance. What this does is give you an idea of what a vehicle you are interested for is selling for and what your payment maybe. Then when the time comes to buy something you will have a pretty good understanding of what they are worth. Honestly with putting 5-7k down I think you can get yourself into something 3-4 years old decent mileage for around your $300 a month price range. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I feel that way about a lot of the new tech options offered. It seems like they are things that you will use when you first get it then eventually either stop using it or get it set to your liking then never touch it again. I was doing some reading on an F150 forum and some of the customization that can be done is pretty shocking. I guess that’s why a well equipped TRUCK is around $50,000 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Holy cow! Taking your sweet ol time getting things put away. Lol. Shoot I’m so far ahead of you I’ve got my truck cleaned, vacuumed and a light detail. Heck I’ve almost bought another truck in the time you’ve taken. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sport mode is stupid and should be removed from all future trucks... ....because I am going to get into a lot of trouble if I use sport mode, holy hell was it fun. Reminded me of sitting right in the powerband of my 600cc sportbike instant response from the engine and transmission, and the sound! oh good lord the sound....

Eh, I have the 5.0 Coyote engine now and yes it does sound nice but it's not a muscle car or even the same sound coming out of the 5.0 Coyote that's in the Mustang's. Besides a blown water pump on the highway the 5.0 has been trouble free. The 2.7 is faster like shockingly faster than the 5.0.

The one I have for a test ride through today only has the 26 gallon tank. My 13 has the 36 gallon tank and while it hurts the wallet to fill up from empty it's nice being able to drive 2 weeks without stopping for gas. I'm still not convinced that this particular truck is for me. I'm probably being way to picky but I don't need to upgrade so I suppose I can be picky. This truck I will have to add in the trailer brake control which is $320. It does have the 3.55 rear end which is good for towing but it does not have the towing payload package which adds to the towing capacity by 1400 pounds. Tires are probably 2/3rds used up and they are just standard light truck tires. The tires on my 13 are Duratrac and only 9 months old. The plus side of the truck is the 2.7 will get better daily driving MPG's by at least 3.5 extra miles per gallon. It's 5 years newer and has 75,000 less miles on it. It also has a couple of extra's as well like heated seats and built in navigation. Which aren't needed but nice.

So if Fitz was healthy Tua would have been pulled again right? Making that like 4 out of the last 6 games for him to get pulled? I feel bad for Fitz Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The mpg drop is the biggest complaint I’ve seen online. I only tow the heavy camper 3-4 times a year so it’s not a big concern I do tow a light utility trailer with the ATV/ lawn mower on it probably 12 times a year but that doesn’t weight much in total. I just don’t want it to struggle pulling it. Nothing worse than having a truck that won’t get out of its own way while towing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have the 5.0 right now and I can’t complain about its towing capability. Daily driving mpg’s ain’t that bad either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I know a few new/newer F-150's where purchased by the forum recently, I'm debating on moving up to a 2018 supercrew with the 2.7 liter engine. My only concern is towing with it but I've been looking online and it seems that the 2.7 is really good for towing. The heaviest thing I tow is a camper that's 4,750 pounds fully loaded which is well below the towing capacity. Any one with the 2.7 have a real world experience to share?

I don’t do the whole smoker thing. This was cooked in a crock pot on low for 5 hours. The football roast sat in the brine for 7 days which had me worried but the only thing I’d change is the cook time. I might only do 4 hours next time as my only complaint was it was a little dry but I’m open for suggestions to make it less dry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Better than any store bought corned beef I’ve ever had. I was so worried it wouldn’t turn out and I’d have to scramble for dinner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
