    Saw some deer tonight, just not the ones I wanted to see. I had 4 does and four fawns come in and feed under an apple tree 50 yards in front of my stand. Following them was a half rack three point that I also saw this morning. No big guys.

    Back in my stand in 8F. Yesterday there was a good buck hitting a scrape under an apple tree here in shooting light, hope he comes back or one of the bigger ones would be even better!

    Been quite here for a while. About 15 more minutes then I'm heading in to warm up.

    Saw a buck cruising in the distance, grunted him in. He doesn't know how lucky he was it was me and not a neighbor he came by

    8F. Nice morning here. Had a button buck come under my stand just before light, an unknown deer move through in some thick stuff a little while ago and a little buck rubbing on some brush a few minutes ago. Hope the big one that was here yesterday evening during shooting light shows up!

    Nice morning here. Had two deer sneak behind me just before it was light enough to make them out. Hoping for a little rut action, its been pretty slow the last two afternoon sits.

    Sweet, you give me hope to see something! I am set up in a blind I usually only spring turkey hunt from. The problem with it is a cat has been using it a lot it seems. I feel like I might get flea's from being in here. Going to have to wash clothes tonight!

    8F, just had a little 3 pointer come in and make a scrape then wander back off.

    Sweet recovery! I used a thermal imaging cam many years ago to help a sweet corn farmer deal with a raccoon problem. It was the coolest thing watching the coon army heading our way. This was probably 12-15 years ago and I think the camera was a 40,000 dollar camera that a friend borrowed from work.

    Two adult does and a button buck came in to an apple tree to eat. I was wondering why no bucks around. 15 minutes later here comes a little 3 point at which point the does hauled ass out. He wasn't even chasing. But he did follow and pester. I think the does are sick of it by the lack of doe movement in daylight hours on my cameras and based on observation. They are hunkering down due to the constant pressure from the young bucks in my opinion.

    Sun is just starting to peak out here in 8F. Still no deer spotted today.

    I feel out of place this morning, like I'm trespassing. I usually only hunt around the edges of my property but this morning I decided to hit a thick bedding area on a knoll. Man is it thick! If it's going to happen here it's going to be close!

    My view. Couple apple trees in the back of an area I pushed out a couple years ago and then planted with spruce trees this spring. The apples are getting a lot of attention from does and fawns daily and a couple nice bucks have been visiting at night.

    I just got back in a tree in 8F. I walked over a big scrape that wasn't there yesterday afternoon on the way in. I saw a good sized deer body minus his head on the side of the road not too far from my spot. I'm hoping it wasn't one of my regulars I've been getting on camera.

    I thought I would see more this morning after seeing a couple little bucks last night acting stupid. So far just a lone fawn streaking across the field about 200 yards out. Packing it in soon. Have some work to do before the afternoon sit.

    I'm in 8F. From what I've seen the little guys are out looking/searching/pestering now. Big guys are either hooked up with early estrous does or biding their time until more does get close. I think this weekend could be real good for buck movement.

    I'm set up in my best stand for this north wind while bow hunting. I got a nice buck on camera last night at 2 am about 200 yards from here. Hoping he's still around looking for the ladies

    Had a crazy doe running around with no buck chasing her. I think she was advertising that she was looking for the buck of her dreams. She made loop's around me for 10 minutes. The ruckus drew in a little buck to see what was going on.

    Just got settled in a stand in 8F. Halfway up the ladder a doe and fawn came by. While putting on my coat a little 3 point came by. Ready for big Daddy to stroll through now!

    Mature buck following a doe on my cameras at 1:00 pm today. Took them about a half an hour to go 75 yards if my times are right

    So far just one lonely coon in my area of 8F. Also not one pic all night from my covert camera which is odd.
