  1. Its not uncommon  for folks to lose their permit privileges if convicted of DWI.  I imagine the same could be true for pot.  The person must then file an application to expunge their record before they will requalify for a permit.
Most law enforcement have bigger things to worry about but if you have one that wants to break chops or sees it as an add on to abother charge, I could see a gun grab (especially if as Bob said, you lie on the background check which in and of itself is a basis for denial regardless of the underlying statement you lied about).  Right or wrong, the person would then have to hire one of those pesky overpaid lawyers to help them out.
I have always believed that all these laws are sponsored by a secret legal action committee that just supports any additional legislation regardless of conservative or liberal support as they know it will mean more legal fees. Much the same way the accounting profession supports any new tax codes coming out. Present company excluded of course.

  2. I couldn't find the exact jacket I first put on my kids but it was something like this.

    https://www.cabelas.com/product/boating/life-jackets-vests/fishing-boating-life-jackets/pc/104794380/c/104741280/sc/104328180/mustang-lil-legends-gray-ansi-life-vest/1952168.uts?slotId=2

I think mine was a helly Hansen product but I couldnt find it on their site. The extra collar forces them on their back if they fall in, keeps their head out of the water and gives you something to grab to pull them out. Make sure it fits snug. As grampy said, if I still had them they would be yours but mine are long gone.

  3. Grimm and Other Half so dang good. Peanut butter and raspberry notes are spot on. 17% and never would know 35f2632d13f5d30f1debcbf497d04e01.jpg&key=58d87d90e249a2100bc3ce334bfafb89f8f37ecf0f7e4bfc5a3691a369becc5caef3f114ef6f9dcd435edcf7c80f8ce3.jpg&key=077b6e078cd4047fc5cc7d1c1579e1c290c64451be973886968590683e1a5394

I am so glad I gave up drinking. If I was still boozing today, other than likely being in jail, I would be so confused on what I was drinking and probably dead broke. Peanut butter? It's a long road from the Olympia, Milwaukee's Best and PBR that got me through college.

See my prescient post earlier. I have no clue why we were in a rush to sign this guy to a long term deal. Can't stay on the field. The best ability is availability.

Totally. When I went to college there I asked for a coke with my burger. The waiter asked what kind. We had a silent standoff of confusion for a bit until I said "Plain?". He wandered off and came back after a little while with seltzer.

  6. Winner winner!!
Damn that was quick!!! This guy had them all; asteroids, pitfall, homerun, pacman, boxing...and original model (but only recently sold) controllers.

Well, I must confess I spent A LOT of time playing it in my youth. I probably wasn't the coolest kid on the planet.

Costco has a retro Atari setup on sale last Christmas. Mock-up of the old console with 50 or so classics built into it. My wife had to take it away from me and hide it.

  7. Is he permanently banned or serving a "time out " ? I haven't read the previous 8 pages but I would hate to see anyone go. I always consider the internet as entertainment  , but rules are rules I guess. I think I just saw somewhere that the World Wide Web is 30 years old today.
It is indeed. I met tim berners-lee while doing my graduate studies. Wild dude. I wonder if the knew this thread would be to what his invention would lead.

  8. Anyone use a climbing harness for hunting out of a treestand?
Looking for the positives and negatives of using one.f817e4af99066c315e2039924ed629bd.jpg&key=6d39cfc84435d26d54aace20256a63d09a0c8641723cf95dfd4ea1b28a222725

The guys on the hunting collective use saddles to hunt out of trees. I think this is what they use: https://aerohunter.us/. Looks like a similar setup.

As I am afraid to step on a step stool I can't say I have any hands-on experience but those dudes rave about them.

If you like that, give Last Chance U a run. Three seasons following JuCo football programs.

  10. Last post on this thread.  My wife picked mom up today after she finished weaning.  Home safe and sound and resting next to her sister.  All six pup's now start their training.  Hope they all make the grade as service dogs.

  11. I don't want anyone to take this question the wrong direction. Why would your pup be crated ?
Our two dogs, both broods for Guiding Eyes, were crate trained starting at birth. I believe they start that so that they get comfortable with transport and to assist in the housebreaking. We are under pretty strict guidance from guiding eyes to keep them crate trained as long as we foster them. I know that there are a lot of opinions out there, I think PETA has a program to ban it, but I can say our two dogs love their crate. They are content and happy to sit in their crate with the door left wide open. It's their spot and no one else's.

  12. Aaron Hicks (career .236 hitter) just got a 7 year extension

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am a Yankee fan and am tired of a lot of the deals cashman makes. I don't mind the extension but the years I don't get. I can't wait to see a 36 year old Hicks on the DL. I hope I am wrong but if you can't stay on the field at 28, how do you stay on the field at 35.
