I started with the E-Cigs just for hunting 2 seasons ago. Ended up switching totally to E-Cigs and now I'm off everything. I've seen plenty of deer while smoking in the stand and the same with E-Cigs. Here on LI they are so used to people that none of that scent stuff seems to matter anyway. I hunt in regular camo clothing, rarely spray down and hunt in all kinds of wind and I see plenty of deer within range.

I shot two does in central suffolk last Wednesday morning. Freezer is filled for the year so the bows been on safety the last few days. I've been seeing A LOT of deer this year but almost all does. I only saw 2 bucks from the stand so far this year and they were 100+ yards away.

When I was pulling up my bow I hit it on the tree and the string got all frayed. On my way home I dropped it off at the shop to get new string. I almost puked when I picked it up and the guy said "$87.50". That was STRING...the cables weren't changed.

I don't think this is what you are talking about but sometimes I'll set my climber up at the bottom of a tree the night before a hunt. I do this so I can get in quiet and get up quick without much of a hassle. You can attach a climber to a tree with ratchet straps just like you would a hang on. Hang ons are much cheaper though so it might be better to just get a hang on and some sticks.

There are a few that would carry the bill. After the new class comes in you might have a better chance but there are plenty of pro hunting people in Albany. I'd be all for a dove season. They are GREAT eating birds and super fun to shoot.

Crow hunting is a ton of fun. The places I hunt we usually don't get a whole bunch but the doubles and triples come in pretty steady. I use an electronic caller and 5 or 6 decoys and I usually get pretty steady action.
