So two deer? Wish I had your vast knowledge and experience with the .243.
-
Like I said in a previous post. Repercussions are needed. Otherwise why not walk in shoot the first slammer, that you admit he's going to see, and walk out of there saying how easy it was.
-
Don't flatter yourself. Mad? Hardly!!! What's your experience with the .243 and deer hunting again?
-
That's correct. I "liked" it. So what? Well actually I laughed at it.

His offer hasn't changed, only the rules you want to play by have. I'm kinda on your side, I'd actually like to see you succeed in getting the target deer, and hear about what you really thought about the process. I'll most likely never go on a high fence hunt. Not because I think it's easy or unethical, but because I really have no interest in paying for a whitetail hunt weather it's fair chase or high fence. I can shoot a whitetail in my backyard, no it's not going to be a monster, but it's still a whitetail. If I ever go on hunting trip, it's going to be for something I can't shoot in my backyard. Love to go to Texas and hunt African plains game. 10,000+ acres fenced in doesn't seem like it would be shooting fish in a barrel.
-
Wait, you complain high fence hunts are easy and not fair and you want to bait and hunt at night to make it easier?

It's no different than any other motor. Could have been run with low oil, or oil never changed. Compression could be low because of that. Cylinder's could be bad, or hole in piston, bent crank, or as simple as bad plugs. Motor might run fine, but is the generator unit working properly. Get it inspected before you purchase the house so you know what your up against.
-
Typically residential units are. The larger commercial units are usually water cooled.
-
Just had a 14k generac installed this spring. Tired of running leads or making sure the portable will start. Assuming your going to do the normal inspections on the house? If so I'd add that to the list. You don't know if this unit is even worth repairing, and the cost to replace isn't going to be cheap. Depending on size, generac gen alone is going to run you 2.5k. Pd $4200 for our 14k with hole house transfer switch. Installation was around another 2k.

It's got a lot of growing to do before winter.

Ok, just so I've got this correct, your offering chef a FREE hunt for a specific deer on a 600+ acre high fence preserve, because he claims it's too easy. Correct? So if he fails, does he have to pay for the hunt? If he, on purpose or accidentally, shoots the wrong deer, what's the consequences? I mean seeing the largest deer you've ever laid eyes on, could make one come up with some excuse why that one is laying there dead and the one he was supposed to be targeting is still walking, and if there are no repercussions, what's to stop him?

You've got my business. Maybe I'll get that bear that's roaming around. You up for trying a rug?
-
Buddy sent me this picture. What are the odds that the next paint job is going to be camo, lol. I know it's not legal in NY to hunt from. Just sharing a pic..
-
But, it's Russia's fault.
-
The camera is fine. Not mark on it. Somehow I got logged out of the app, and wasn't getting the notifications. Logged in and had 15 pics a a few does and a small buck.
-
Well, I guess I've got to go check the camera. It's scheduled to send a test pic every midnight, and I didn't get one last night. I'm going to guess it's probably junk, if I even find it.
-
No video. Just this one pic.
-
Hopefully my camera isn't chewed up.
-
Holy crap Ryan. It definitely looks different from when I picked up Dom's deer. I figured you would need a drainage ditch to divert some of that water. Glad it's helping. Been seeing some very good prospects for a shoulder mount. Think you've done 3-4 for my nephew's and a few for some good friends of mine. Think it's about time you do one for me, lol.
-
Way to cheap..
-
I have no clue what you're talking about.

If it that steep where getting a ATV out is going to be hairy, the last piece of equipment I'd try to get in there is a mini excavator. I've got many hours behind the controls of minis. Controlled sliding down a hill and pulling yourself back up is not recommended for someone that doesn't have experience.

My upright is probably 10 yrs old. Garage is insulated, but not heated. Water will easily freeze. I've have freezer alarms and the freezer temps consistently stays around 0°.
-
I've got a upright in my garage. No issues.

Went out yesterday to check some stands. Seen several bucks. Couple were holding on to their velvet.
