    I get WAY more enjoyment out of hunting deer with trailcams than I do with a bow/gun. Developing history with a deer is really cool. I have one buck this year that I've been following since 2013!!!

    Thanks. I may have a chance if he makes it through opening weekend with all the standing corn on the farm still. We'll see. Semisneak form...ears back...would look bad ass!

    Just fixed this tine for a buddy of mine. Antler was kinda weak/pourus...thus the dark color. Paint needs to dry still and I'll probably have to do some touchups.

    If he survives the next weekend's chaos...my friends farm currently has a bunch of standing corn which we be the best food source in his area. That will be my best chance if we get hit with cold and snow.

    It will probably be an easier approach than trying to match up the missing skin with another cape and then patching it. I plan on making the hole and throwing some apoxie sculpt in it. Nothing too fancy.

    The guy who killed it is coming over tonight to pick out what he wants...Idk what route we're going with yet? He's an older guy...he doesn't seem to care either way. He just want one that looks like his old ass mount in his cabin but facing the other way...lol

    It's going to be interesting for sure. I might try patching it with a tanned piece of nose hide
