Not a fan of Cecil and precision bullets myself. I helped him correct a breach plug issue he had for the NEF muzzleloader line . Myself and another guy got nothing out of it not even a thank you . Lost me as a customer . How much were the hazmat fees on that bh209 from bass .

The stock plug won't ignite BH ,adding a vent line will allow it , you can drill a 3/8 diameter hole by 3/8 deep problem solved

I believe it fits the mountain rifle but I'm not 100% sure . A quick call to them and they will confirm or deny . They have one of the best customer services

Are you planning on using it this year, if so I might suggest using T7 and the stock plug. Bh209 is next to impossible to find ,at least near me . If you are using bh209 you will need to modify stock plug with a vent liner or replace with their bh209 plug for 100% ignition. I'd start with a harvester crush rib sabots and order some .452 300gr hornady xtp bullets . That bullet has probably killed more game then any other bullet around You can upgrade the glass at anytime . Im looking to upgrade myself to a vortex or Leopold when I find one on sale . Stock plug is fine

The stock plug won't ignite BH209 100% of the time, you can order one from CVA or Western powders . Or just shoot T7 or Pyrodex as is.

Is BH209 a must, my answer is no . I use T7 due to the cost of bh209 . BH209 is a luxury for me

It use to be 15cents for 9mm target ammo. Those same bullets are now 60cents plus if you can find them. It doesn't help that people are willing to pay the overpriced price .

You can order a ml right to your door no FFL is needed .

Cva accura ,wolf,and optima are fines choices . Knight mountaineer, ultra light or disc. Tc omega hands down one of if not the best production ml ever made. Tc pro hunter FX , barrels aren't interchangeable. Some say they need a belhm trigger and hinge pin to be accurate. White brand muzzleloader Doc White built them to last not a finer ml can be found .

Powder and bullets Triplle 7 comes in pellets or loose form as does pyrodex. BH209 is loose only and is pricey but there is no swabbing between shots. You can grab some pre packed bullets and sabots or buy in bulk separate and save money . Check out https://www.harvestermuzzleloading.com/ Hornady 300gr xtp is a super bullet in a harvester crush rib sabot. You can't go wrong with pre packaged Barnes either . The TC triumph will ignite bh209 with the stock plug. If you buy a cva you will need to purchase a separate bh209 plug for 100% ignition. If you can find a TC omega buy it .
