  1. Any CVA, TC, Knight bought today will work fine for you. I'm not much of a CVA fan but they can shoot very well. I have several TC's {made before the S and W purchase } NEF's , and Whites. You can shoot pellets but loose powder is the way to go. With triple 7 or pryodex a simple windex / water mixture will clean it up just fine , then oil when done.Montana Extreme and Butches is what I use for oil . If you use Blackhorn 209 you can get several, as many as 30 shots without swabbing the barrel after every couple shots as you would need to with T7 or pryodex The Remington Ultimate claims to shoot out to 300 yards if I recall ,there have been mixed reviews out there on that ML. When shooting loose powder you can increase your powder charge in increments of 5 ,with pellets you can't. Pellets are nice and easy and I do use them myself at times . ML is a great sport, I use my ML all season rather then my rifle ,if you get the Wolf I'm sure you will enjoy it. Just keep in mind the stock CVA plug won't shoot BH209 , you will need to purchase one.
  2. Generac whole house generator, comes on automatically when the power goes out. No going out outside in the elements at all. To me it was worth the money .you could then by a Honda for camp like I did .
  3. What speeds do they recommend. Most guys I know with 10ML-11 use xtps
  4. 80 bucks, just drop off the deer . Pm if you want name and number. Just off rt9 over the cresant bridge.I'll be using him as my neighbor says does a great job
  5. Confirmed guy in Clifton park if your interested let me know.I believe he does it for Rolf's pork store to but not 100% certain yet
  6. I went with Black Ice on my White. http://blackicecoatings.com/index.html

    SpyPoint HD-7

I got a spy point force 11D, it's the fastest trigger speed on the market. I also got the browning strike force elite HD, after discovering a small issue it was returned back to browning(love the cam). After some suggestions I'll be buying another one shortly. I have been a moultrie fan for years but believe the browning is the best on the market in 140 or so price range followed by that spy point. Phade on this site sells them and seems to be the go to guy for advice. The above is my two cents from the average hunting camera user. Steve
  8. Larry, now that I figured out how to add more then one photo, let me know if you want a couple more. Some say this was Docs finest muzzloader.I have actually had a neighbor offer me three times now a straight up trade for his new knight ultra light with a vortex scope, I have declined all three time's. Aside from weight I saw no advantages.
  9. I heard its practically s dine deal.
  10. No that's stainless steel before I black iced it. Now I really need a new pic that's an old one.
  11. Only uploaded one, I'll snap a few more this weekend
  12. X7 muzzloader, light and accurate. If not its my white thunderbolt
  13. Sam Adams Oktoberfest and crisp cool morning air.
  14. I got a lead on a guy in Clifton park, waiting on a return call. That whole water issue in hoosick falls kind of makes me nervous.
  15. The browning strike force elite HD is the best camera I have seen. Moultrie and spy point are tied for second in my book.
  16. Is that all of them for Albany county.always good to have choices
  17. if I could get my phone to match my PC or Ipad I'd be happy .Might the mods be able to have a classic tab to revert back to the old?
  18. I stopped doing a membership after the safe act , I have bought a lot of ammo in the past and there was some great member deals . Now I just order based on emails and sales flyer . Much like Cabelas , each has deals that pertain to your needs .You can't go wrong with them .
  19. Isn't cohoes closer to Selkirk then hoosick falls or do you hunt over that way.
  20. I've been dealing with them practically since day one , no issues that I have ever had .
  21. Chester in Cohoes does it , little $$ but he does a very good job. He just opened a smokehhouse market on Watervliet Av in Albany , Adam in Averil Park does it also ,Bill Leary {the best around } use to do it in Albany but doesn't any more . I used Strattons a few year ago , they did a nice job . I heard the Altamont Market might be doing it this year but I'm not 100% certain . If you need numbers or address's let me know .
