  1. Damn I should've posted this earlier but all these boiled dinners with cabbage - have to put this recipe out there. It's for a mustard sauce. This is perfect for boiled dinners of corned beef or ham with cabbage etc.... 1 cup of sugar 2 tbsp flour 1 tsp tumeric 1 tsp dried mustard 1 cup vinegar Put in sauce pan and stir together til it thickens without burning on medium heat. Leave it a little thin cause it will thicken as it cools. Awesome sauce for this meal. Just don't get it on your clothes cause it stains everything. But sooooo good.
  2. I like them most every way. Pickled, boiled, omelettes, over hash.... On a plane, on a train.....I will eat most any eggs and ham.
  3. Sorry to hear and thoughts to you and your family. Sounds like a great man. And for me a walk on the trout stream for a few minutes gets me close to my Dad.
  4. My favorite sign of spring! Went to get something out of it and said wth let's get it out. Earliest ever! But have to get a new depth finder installed and to get it in early cause boat place will be swamped soon ! Good to have my baby home!
  5. Thanks, I never seem to make them the same way. But I drained the fluid out of a jar of peppercini and added in a cup of water and a cup of vinegar into a pan. Put in garlic and peppercorns and onion and garlic salt. Brought it to a boil, shut it off and let it cool. Then poured it into the eggs and peppers.

  18. Exactly what Grampy said. I already put my vac in and am only working M and F both of those weeks. Didn't even take any time off ( other than the opener) til Oct 24 and 25. Then Oct 31 and Nov 1. And then most of the first two weeks of Nov. Always seems to be the best.
