  1. Dang pour some gas down the hole and throw a match. Catch a bucket of fish and toss them on the fry daddy. Pop the top on a cold one. Sounds like a pretty good weekend to me. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  2. Is there a D in Dallas. Damn right he could. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  3. Oh yeah I have heard some stories all unconfirmed but probably have some merit. One guy was telling me that female yotes will lure a male dog out in the brush into an ambush. Said he saw a pitbull that got neutered by a pack of yotes. Like I say can't confirm it. I know they are all over my place and I've never had a problem. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  4. I seen my old male Luck stretch out a yote by himself. I have seen his daughter Nug and two males that belong to a buddy stretch one out. If I had purse dogs I'd be concerned. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  5. Come down to Texas go go hog hunting with us sometime and I'll show that old yeller wasn't that far fetched. Cur dogs got some serious grit. The worse it gets the better they like it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  6. I'll guarantee you the last thing a coyote wants to run into is one of my cur dogs. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  7. Made some last night with ground wild hog. Noticed the same thing. No grease and very little shrinkage. Tastes better than beef. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  8. Some people hunt because they like to eat it. Some so they can hang a head on their wall. I'm not opposed to either. They are both hunting and I'm not going to badmouth someone for harvesting a deer legally. Hunters need to stick together. Libs are attacking us enough without us getting after each other. 9. Venison isn't getting grilled at our house. Backstrap gets fried. The rest gets ground into sausage or cut and made into jerky Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  10. I'll take back strap and gravy over any cut of beef any day. Mashed potatoes and green beans. Hmmmm hmmmm good. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  11. I'll take back strap and gravy over any cut of beef any day. Mashed potatoes and green beans. Hmmmm hmmmm good. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  12. Of course our deer will only field dress 75 to 120 pounds on average Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  13. Most of the deer we kill never make the freezer. We will eat the whole thing in a week. We killed 5 deer 2 years ago and none made it to the freezer. When there is deer me meat available nothing else hits the table. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  14. Way I see it unless your hunting to control problem animals like feral hogs or varmints or predators like yotes. If you don't want t8 eat them don't kill them. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah nothing like the taste of an 8 year old mossy nutted buck. Ha. Hey man it don't matter to me. I hunt horns too but when it's time to put deer meat in the freezer I'm not opposed to killing some doe. Or skillet heads as we call them here in Texas Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  16. Can't eat horns Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  17. Yeah I did some drilling in North central PA and took a few sight seeing trips through upstate NY. It was some pretty country and met a lot of good people. Niagara falls is the coolest thing I have ever seen as far as nature. Awesome power right there. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  18. Like they say here in Texas. El Paso. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  19. Good Lord y'all sure do have a lot of rules up there. Guess I would stay in trouble. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  20. Yeah his head will be sitting on a shelf pretty soon. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  21. If I see a rattlesnake a cottonmouth or a copperhead in my yard they are dead. I know they aren't going to chase me across the yard and attack me but if I surprise them it could be bad. If a coyote gets to hanging around the house I'll shoot it. Plenty of woods for him, stay out of my yard. But living in Texas, our laws are such that this wouldn't be against the law. 22. They don't mess with hog dogs. The red female looking at you caught one 2 years ago and all she got was some ear damage. My buddy walked up and shot the coyote. The might eat some house pets but they aren't fooling with cur dogs. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  23. Anything that eats cats is welcome at my house. Ha Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  24. We catch them with dogs in Northeast Texas. Hunt from end of January til Sept. Usually catch 150 to 200 a year. I have never shot one but if you pour some corn on the ground where hogs are you will be successful. Spot and stalk would be pretty challenging where I'm at because of the swampy terrain where they tend to live. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  25. I always thought there were only two seasons. Salt and pepper. Ha Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
