Just want to say I'm thinking about next season and getting some venison in the freezer for sure. I'm having surgery Jan 2 (what a way to bring in the new year) to remove part of lung and the tumor. I responded well to chemotherapy, and the tumor has shrank considerably. Doctor says results are very good so far. I missed this past season cause I've been sick, but my friend gave me some ground venison from doe he got. The burgers were so good last night. Hope everyone has Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

I also have been having these thoughts about hunting and I also past up a nice 8-point the 1st day, I am sure that I will be giving up hunting soon, thankfully I really enjoy fishing, and have a son in law that is always wanting me to go fishing with him. When I catch a fish I can take a picture and release him to be caught another day.

I really would have to research it. But I do know that leaving the can in the woods is littering. I personally have never dealt with it. I would guess not but am not sure as long as the consumer is 21, and his bac stays below the legal limit. But it for sure is stupid. If I recall, a couple years ago there wasa thread about this and it was surprising the number of people who admitted to taking a nip on the stand to "keep warm" I am sure it is not illegal. If ti were it would say so in the guide. All there are are strong recommendations not to.

We use 4 spypoint IR-6 on our property and are very happy with them, especially when compared to similar stealth cams and wildgame alternatives.

Has anyone ever used the Spy Point IR-7 trail cam? I am going to buy a new cam to replace a stolen one and these look pretty good for the money. They are advertised at Cabelas.
