numbers last year where low. still called in birds but past a bunch. can justify limiting out with low numbers. hopefully it's better this year and a lot of those jakes made it. last year was screwing for a hatch i feel like.
It's really sad that we don't have the numbers like we use to. I remember back in the mid 90s when I was a little kid, we had flocks with 50 to 60 birds in them. I sure do miss them days. But in the last couple seasons there's been more and more coming back. Hopefully in a few more years we'll have a good number again!

Hey Everyone! This is Louis Backlas/ Cross Over the River Outdoors. I just posted a new video to my YouTube channel that I though ya'll might get a kick out of! Have you ever used a decoy to hunt whitetails? If you haven't before you might want to start! I woke up one morning and look out my front window only to find that my 3D deer target was in pieces all over the front lawn! A fired up buck decided to take his frustrations out on the target! this took place sometime in November during the peek of the rut. Hope ya'll get a kick out of it!
Follow along on my adventures on my pages! You can find Cross Over the River Outdoors on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook! God Bless!

Thank you very much! I honestly don't know what he weighed. We guessed him to be about 3 years old or so

Welcome Louis! I checked out your YouTube channel and watched a couple of your videos! I will definitely watch the rest of them later for sure! Great quality! I've never seen anyone hunt from horseback before! It doesn't seem like the bucks pay you any attention at all!? That's some cool stuff!
Thank you for watching! Yeah most of the deer are use to seeing the horses daily and they no a horse is not a threat to them. However, when ever a new deer comes around and sees a horse for the first time, they tend to freak until they notice the other deer are not scared.

It's always cool to have a spot like that! I have a couple spots like that but my favorite spot is in Pennsylvania. I've hunted this one spot for 3 years and every time I hunted it I've had birds walk right in on top of me! I've never really been walleye fishing, but I've heard that its a blast!
