You have cover and some great bucks so plant some plots and they will learn to hang close and eat and get big. Me thinks you will be successful once the plots are established

The herd has been busy since the cold and snow showed up. Walked up on a few today but they took off they’ve been Digging up my field the last pic is an area where there is no food plot underneath. They know where to dig and where not too.

Still hammering the food plots

It’s the Russians....they are trying to steal the pole for their Siberian strippers of course. Not knowing they are the cause of global warming we Americans should just buy up all the available Stoli and they would leave the Siberian strip clubs and the pole would become American one more just sayin.

Market is now open to use and interpretation of investor groups using social media to compete with the large investors very interesting and almost expected within the trappings of its rules. Notice Elon mentioned Bitcoin and it’s up 18%. Next week when Some other celebrity billionaire mentions something they like that will jump. I guess looking at fundamental financial ratios and projected growth paths no longer matter it’s just flavor of the week now. But I will say this a lot of money to be made and has been made with these techniques and stuff people may not even understand. Been fun to watch.

No EHD in my area central Fingerlakes Cayuga County. My guess is One of three things happened a hunter put a bad shot on it that eventually led to its demise Or it got hit by a car as it was found not far from the road or died of some other causes. With just a carcass of bones and hair and the dead head it’s impossible to tell how it died just glad they found it
-
Bill I would guess 3 1/2 at least probably older 4 1/2. It’s a guess just based on the rack. They had to cut head from they body which they said was mostly bones and hair so kind of hard to tell by the body size to help guess age.

My sons friend found this 12 pt head and dead carcass recently not far off a county trail. Would have loved to have stumbled on this find. Makes one wonder how many big bux die and are never found. Winter is a great time to find these and sheds from the ones that made it. Get out for a hike and give it a try you never know what you might find.

I used to Take down the cameras once the bucks shed but that is also when I started picking up Turkeys pictures so Now I’ll leave most of the cameras up to see what the upcoming turkey flock looks like and then just flow into summer getting an idea of how the herd is doing. I enjoy taking hikes and pulling cards frequently believe it may help in long term conditioning
-
I keep my cameras up year-round I have noticed they don’t drop most of the time until February and March sometimes earlier sometimes later I’ve had pics of bucks usually smaller with racks into April and I found a little shed one side in December during muzzleloader so I guess it all depends. But usually by the end of February to the middle of March most of them shed At least that’s what the camera show

Once you get the food plots in and let them feast on it over a winter you can leave a camera up on the plot and watch those bux show up all winter. It also conditions them for next season and keeps the herd healthy and full.

Winter Leftover Bux. Seem to have a decent amount of survivors. This weeks card pull.

No snow here yet. You can keep it your way tonight RH&F. It looks like we’re going to get our fair share of the white sand this week we’ve been avoiding it so here it comes

Plots continue to draw the herd and parsnip appears to be favorable food radishes have been eaten down to the ground. Moved a camera overlooking plot so hopefully cold snow set up this week drawing the herd even more. Definitely getting a cabbage type smell from field too which herd seems to know more each year as the plots mature into January.

He told me it was a 2 day hunt $175 per day per man for a 4 person hunt. He said it was another long day but well worth it. They are driving home now. -

I’m not sure what kind of call they use for them but I’m sure it’s PC as the OS or LT don’t seem to care as they are DOA -
