Last weekend’s 24-hour Birdathon, put on by the Onondaga Audubon Chapter, saw 28 teams participating and a total of 196 species recorded.The top team, the Woodcocks, consisting of Bill Purcell, Kevin McGann and Chris Spagnoli, logged 148 different birds.Winner of the most species seen category with the least amount of gas used was team Osprey Can You See, consisting of Dave Nash, with 96 species.
