HuntingNY-News Posted November 9, 2012 Share Posted November 9, 2012 <p> The hog could have come from the nearest breeding population, which is on the border of Onondaga and Cortland counties, said Associate Professor Paul Curtis, the Extension Wildlife Specialist at Cornell University. </p> <p><strong>I don't make this stuff up.</strong></p> <p>The Utica Observer reported the following:<br />"Utica police officers shot and killed a wild boar Wednesday afternoon — in the city.</p> <p>" Around 3:15 p.m., residents reported a wandering pig acting aggressively in the area of Bleecker Street, near Culver Avenue. Sgt.
