Syracuse.com - CNY skiing scene could use some snow

As of this afternoon, Toggenburg Mountain in Fabius, Song Mountain in Tully and Labrador Mountain in Truxton were not open, according to their websites.

<p>Central New York skiers and snowboarders are hoping for snow — soon.</p>

<p>As of this afternoon (Dec. 13), Toggenburg Mountain in Fabius, Song Mountain in Tully and Labrador Mountain in Truxton were not open, according to their websites.</p>

<p>“We’re grooming trails right now,” said Peter Harris, owner/operator of Song Mountain. “I’ll make the call by 10 a.m. Friday morning as to whether we’ll be open this Saturday.”</p>

<p>Greek Peak, near Marathon, opened a couple of trails on Saturday and Sunday of the first weekend of December, but has been closed since. They’d like to open by Dec. 22, a staff member said.</p>
