jusputtn
I hope folks in the gun community are taking the time to contact their legislators, both federal and state. I've written some letters and it feels really good to drop them in the mail box. I keep mine short and sweet. Mostly, I think the politicians, more like their aids, are counting the pros and cons versus spending the time to really think about what a letter is saying. I've also heard that letters carry more weight than emails and phone calls. Not sure why as it doesn't take much more effort to produce a letter.
tony m
You are correct about letters. If you handle yourself well in person, I suggest going to your NYS assembly and senate reps, and form a rapport with them. That is how to get into their heads. Glad your aboard. jusputtn
tony m, Thank you. I'm planning to attend the sportsmen's march on Albany this spring for the first time. I can do OK in person though my wife has diagnosed me as having Asperger's.
