It was looking for a duck breakfast.

David J. Holihan sent me the following message and photos late last week.

"Who said there's no coyotes in the burbs?" he said.

"This guy was looking for a duck breakfast this a.m. on the Seneca River in Liverpool, and yes, I have seen tracks in the snow on the south side of the river."

Cool shots. I especially like the shot of the great blue heron.
