I’d like to encourage those who’ve caught their first trout ever on opening day – young and old – to send me their photographs. Get them to me by noon Wednesday.

Every year I get a flood of photographs from successful anglers on opening day and during the first few weeks of the trout fishing season.

I’d like to encourage those who’ve caught their first trout ever on opening day – young and old – to send me photographs as well. I plan to put a photo slideshow together of these photos by Thursday. Deadline for submitting first catches is noon Wednesday.

Send photos to [email protected] and include the full name, hometown of the angler in the photo and length of the fish. Also include your daytime phone number for further questions.
