Syracuse.com - Fishing, hunting and trapping licenses will be on sale again at the New York State Fair

Statewide, the DEC last year sold a total of 823,478 fishing licenses, 507,801 hunting licenses and 33,873 trapping licenses.

The state fair opens Thursday and once again state fishing, hunting and trapping licenses will be on sale at the DEC building, which is next to the Dairy Building. Look for the big pillars.

Sportsmen and women can buy their licenses from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day the fair is open.

Statewide, the DEC last year sold a total of 823,478 fishing licenses, 507,801 hunting licenses and 33,873 trapping licenses.

In Region 7, there were 113,154 fishing licenses, 75,303 hunting licenses and 4,863 trapping licenses sold.
