hunting the island tomorrow and just want to make sure i have everything. bow license and access permit? is that it? what do i put in the car window when i go into the woods and have on me in the woods?

Don't know about the parking stuff, but you'll want your hunters license, and bow certification. You don't need a bow privilege on LI.

Your daily access parking permit as well as a parking number for the spot you will be hunting. Unless you do not need to check in at ridge check station.

In the woods, hunting license, bow tag, daily access permit, should prob keep drivers license too
