Four Season Whitetail's
Who is "they"? That would be the NRA. The King will burn this guy at the stake without alot of this backing. Even gun makers are not showing the love!
Mr VJP
But with a whole lot of financial backing, according to the current political wisdom, Astorino would only lose by about 10 percentage points or so. I think the point of the article is, all political indicators point to failure, no matter how much money is thrown at it. Some folks think money is all you need to win an election. That is not true. You need a majority of the vote, and the majority of NY votes will never go to a Conservative Republican. The majority of the state's voters are too Liberal, Leftist and anti-gun. Plus, those people vote. Too many of the state's Republicans, Conservatives and gun owners, don't. The NRA doesn't have unlimited funds, thanks to many gun owners who are not members. So they have to invest where they can get the beat result for the money spent. I think they believe NY is not a good investment. I think they are right.

And if this does not take the King off the throne this year he will never come off.
Mr VJP
And all gun rights in NY State will become privileges that will be licensed and subject to the will of the government. Unfortunately Astorino, and the gun rights orgs in the state today, are too little, too late.
