Shed hunting?

Looking to get to do some shed hunting after the winter and was looking for any tips/advice from people who've done it.    When is the general dates to start looking?  What spots do u focus on while out there?

If you got cameras put them back out after the season once you start getting pictures of bucks with one or no antlers start looking.  Walk slow your stalking the antlers except they don't get up and bust off when you almost step on them so make sure you take your time and keep your eyes moving.  Theres def. a learning curve the first few times I went out I got goose egged then everytime after that I had success because I learned what to look for and took my time.

look on the south side of the hills in bedding and feeding aeras where they spend most of their time in pines where they have some thermal cover

i always start end of feb.if you have any food plots start there first.i find more there than anywere else.second place will be bedding areas and trails to food plots

with this snow it might stress them enough to have them start dropping
