Something you may not know about the S.C. shooting

The pastor of the church, a S.C. State Senator and Democrat, was an anti-gun fanatic, who refused to allow any lawfully licensed people to carry a legal concealed firearm in the church, effectively making it a "gun free zone"  which eliminates legal self defense.

 

I think it is logical to assume if just one responsible person had a firearm on them in that church, many lives would have been saved.

 

That is the politically incorrect reality the anti-gun leftists are going to ignore and shout down in the coming gun control debate.

 

I would love to see this become the main issue in the debate.  Gun control laws that disarm the responsible citizen, leave them defenseless against any possible threat that only an armed individual can repel.  The police cannot possibly be everywhere all the time.  And believing the elimination of guns in America will prevent this stuff has been proven wrong again and again.
