Syracuse.com - Syracuse angler lands nice chinook on the Salmon River

10156931-large.jpgSubmitted photoNick Stepien, of Syracuse, hoists at chinook (king) salmon that he caught recently while fishing the Black Hole on the Salmon River in Pulaski.

The fish was caught on a dancing egg on 17-pound test line, using a bottom bouncing technique.

It was 36 inches long and weighed 25 pounds, he said.
